Heading out for a non-degen trip with the g/f, and wondering if there are new popular shows I should look into. Have seen most of the Cirque shows (may go back to Ka, since that was my favorite); saw Absinthe a few years ago and it was hilarious and awesome. Have heard that Opium at Cosmo is a similar bizarre/R-rated/comedy show by the team behind Absinthe. Will likely pick 1 Cirque show and 1 of Absinthe/Opium...but anyone have rec's for others?

I too have seen the majority of the Cirque shows-Ka is good. I did just see La Reve at Wynn and in my opinion it’s better. Give it a try-I think it’s a good show

I’ve seen O, La Reve, Absinthe, and Mystere (I think?). I’d see O 2 more times before I saw something else. It blew my mind.

La Reve was good and cheaper though with some pretty cool visuals. It was in the round so every seat was great.

I know Opium got a lot of bad reviews when it first came out, but I saw it in June and thought it was delightful. My impression is they’ve improved the show dramatically over the past year. I got 2-for-1 tickets with my Identity card status.

I don't know if it is open yet, but Cirque has a new show at Luxor that is a murder mystery if memory serves.

Saw Opium last week and enjoyed it. Mostly sexual humor and variety show type acts if that is/isn't your thing.

Love is one of the three Cirque shows I plan on seeing along with O and Zumanity during solo. I have already seen Ka twice with the wife which is one reason it isn't one of the three.

Love was pretty great, Absinthe awesome. Enjoyed O, but felt like I didn't get some part of the story.

Saw Blue Man Group many years ago, that was fun. Are they still going?

O definitely doesn't have an understandable, linear story like Ka.

Blue Man Group is still playing at Luxor
