Last time I went, I went to the Bachannal because the first time I went there I thought it was like the best buffet ever. But when I went last week, it seemed different? Anyone have any recommendations? Also, did the buffet change or did I just have way too high expectations?

There is 1 clear buffet. Miles above the rest.

The sterling brunch buffet located @ Bally’s on Sunday’s from 9-1 coming in @ 110per person. The endless Perrier Joet flowing while you eat a whole family of lobster and king crab and lamb is amazing.

This buffet isusually fully booked if you call or try to reserve a table but, should you go there with a crisp $20 bill in your hand. Your dining experience awaits you

You can also use your comps to pay the $110 price tag

Among the higher-end buffets, Wicked Spoon is definitely the best value, especially since it is somewhat easy to get a two-for-one coupon.

Bacchanal probably has a broader selection, and is great to try once, but it's not really worth the additional expense IMO.

I've never tried the Sterling Brunch. I'm not sure I'd get much more out of it, since I don't really like champagne.

I don’t think Bacchanal is worth 50% more than Wicked Spoon. At least not for people who don’t want to eat a ton of food.

I’ve never been to the Sterling Brunch and feel like even in Vegas the vast majority of tourists don’t want to get totally hammered on Sunday morning or eat two lobsters for breakfast. If doing that is your thing, go for it. For everyone else, $110 is horrible value and making a general statement like calling it “miles above the rest” is ridiculous.

The poker vlogger Andrew Neeme, in one of his past few videos, went to the remade Palace Station. The place has been transformed to the point where it is totally unrecognizable and high class. He did a walk around of the place but didn't eat at the new buffet.

Has anyone been to the new Palace Station buffet. It would be on the cheap side but if they made it as good as Red Rock Casino buffet, it may well be the best buffet in Las Vegas, bang for the buck-wise.

Wynn buffet is $50 now for dinner. When they started giving free parking to anyone that spends $50 on the property, the price of the buffet went up. I like that buffet but never thought it was THAT good.

ROFL, reminds me UFC Heavyweight Roy "Big Country" Nelson. Dana White said "This guy looks like he just came out of every buffet in Vegas".

To answer the OP, buffets will change at least a little bit sometimes. There have been times when I thought a buffet was good, went again months later and thought it was much worse, went again months later and thought it was better than ever.

My expectations probably have affected my opinions but buffets do make noticeable changes sometimes. My opinion on the more popular buffets rarely changes much though.

So, generally, if I'm not looking for lobster and caviar on the buffet, and am looking for good value, my best bet is locals casinos off the strip and stay away from resort prices?

I stayed at Palazzo last year and had the Grand Lux buffet, it was fine, and I know it's Vegas, but all I really wanted for breakfast was bacon and eggs and orange juice, and I felt there has to be a way to do that for less than twentysomething bucks

It’s still the Sterling Brunch, that one is the best even for recovering alcoholics and people allergic to shellfish. Especially if you are an Asian family that eats 6 lobster tails. Man, I wish I was an Asian family..

For eggs & bacon, I guess you can go to Denny’s on the Strip or check where the closest Waffle House is? If you want to pay a little more than that, Hash House has a very wide selection of breakfast items.

idk about value

bacchanal has the best food and wicked spoon is second. i don’t think anyone comes close w/r/t food diversity and overall quality to bacchanal, whether that’s worth the difference in price is up to you

There are reviews of buffets on YouTube and in those videos people walk around and show you the food that is in the buffets. Look for the most recent reviews and you’ll have a much better idea whether it’s worth it or not.

Cosmo is great if you've never had a buffet in Vegas. Great layout and presentation. In a beautiful casino. Food is good. Takeaway box option is neat if you're local.
Bellagio is severely underrated and not overpriced. Lacks in presentation but many under-appreciated dishes, particularly on Fri/Sat. Hand-roll sushi bar; caviar bar; Beef Wellington, Chilean Sea Bass, Wagyu, king crab. If you play any poker, get a comp to skip the line.
Bacchanal is overrated.

I like Bellagio too. However some don’t like the fact you have to get your own drinks now. That’s what the mediocre buffets on the Strip do.
