Hey 2+2,

I'm the official/unofficial party planner for a good friend's bachelor party May 31-June 3. His brother is the official planner, but he's been to Vegas once and I've been 30+ times so I offered my assistance.

Good/bad news is this is going to be a huge group, 19 confirmed and up to 24 with maybes so far. From what I know they're all a good group of dudes who like to drink and party, so should be fun.

We've decided on Mirage for the hotel and I have a 2 bedroom tower suite for the groom, his brother and myself. This can also be a central party area. Others are all getting basic rooms and splitting between a couple of guys.

For the bachelor this will be his first time in Vegas! He wants to drink, go to live music, strippers and gamble. He has basically no interest in pool parties or clubs.

Questions I'm needing some advice with:
1)Where are good live music venues other than House of Blues? He likes Rock mainly.

2)Transport: Is there a limo service anyone recommends/has had good experience with? Since there are 19+ of us, we'll need at least 2 limos anytime we go out anywhere as a group.

3)Meals: I'm pretty much covered with Scarpetta and Carnevino as two of the dinners. Kabuto won't let us do a buy out, but Yui Edomae might for third dinner. Any other sushi restaurants you know that can handle this party size? Not really interested in Nobu/Masa.

4)Strippers: Not my area of expertise but I think he wants mid tier, so thinking Palomino cause full nude and drinks. What kind of deals can you get on bottle service and such if you call them to pick you up? Do you just call direct through each club?

Would anyone strongly suggest anywhere else? I don't think he wants $100 lap dances or the pushiness of Rhino. No idea about Sapphire's and CH3.

5)Activities: Optional daytime activities will be exploring strip, racing cars, golfing, hanging at pool. Not sure if he has much interest in shooting guns. What are other favorites near strip? Far from strip?

Thanks

TF

Don't mention BP around Mirage staff, most hotels don't allow them in the rooms. They've seen Very Bad Things too.

I don't know from music, but Brooklyn Bowl in the Linq promenade seems to have a lot. In fact, given your proximity, you guys will probably spend a lot of time in the Linq promenade.

Party bus? Might even be too small depending on the layout.

Never been there, but from what I've heard Palomino may not quite reach up to "mid-tier".

Not "strongly", but Little Darlings has a bach party thing where they bring the bach up on stage to embarrass him. It's a kind of old school place where the stage is the central feature. Very mercenary place though, waitresses always hitting you up to buy overpriced drinks for the strippers (they get a cut). It's the only place I know of that has bed dances though.

Go karts? Skydiving tower? Helichopter rides? Boating in Lake Mead?

Not quite "racing" cars, but SLS has Lambos and other exotics for rent. If SLS has them, then many other places do too. BTW the Hurican has a crazy exhaust from the factory.

All great tips and helpful. Will check into Little Darlings, one of my buddies who loves the strippers suggested them as well.

Party bus is a solid idea, and some good other activity suggestions. Much appreciated.

the (any) strip club will send a party bus to get you, but everyone will need to uber back. It usually works better that way anyways. Theres no chance you're getting 6 people that want to leave at the same time, let alone 24.

I know of some bartenders in Vegas that will set all this up for you. They end up getting paid $40-$80 per head that they send to the club, so you can feel like you're tipping them even more than usual, then you still have the no cover / free ride. CH3 is the optimal middle of the road strip club, plus thats where I found dancers that were willing to come back to the room to perform instead of me dragging my ass back to the club. Little Darlings is better than Palomino if its down to those 2

Thanks Canoe, always love your TRs. Will be drunk and smashing the VP at Cosmo this weekend for you.

When you say middle of the road for CH3, how much are lap dances/bottle service? Are girls pushy like Rhino?

Also what is the advantage of having a bartender set this up vs. just calling club itself to set up a bus?

Thanks

Canoe,

Would you have a name or 2 in mind that you would recommend at CH3?
This is for a friend who will be in Vegas in a couple of months .

By the way, your Trip Reports are legendary. You are a Legend amongst men!

the advantage is in your negotiating skills. Lets say the bartender finds out you and 19 people are heading in, tell them you need a bottle of Goose thrown in for a table. That will eat in to the bartenders profit, but they still make out like bandits. They send a text and make $1,000 while you get a bottle out of the deal. YOu need to know what youre worth though. If possible, ask a cabbie what the current rate is for strip club drops. if you know it's $60 heading in to the deal, you could tell the bartender you also need the club to drive you back and set you up with a bottle. T this point, the bartender may *only* get $30 per head, but they'll still be happy with that when the text to set it up takes 5 minutes. This is especially true if you're playing at Cosmo ime)

iirc dances were around $40. $100-$200 if you want to go in the back for a half hour and have hand jobs offered to you. Every girl kinda sets her own price since they all just have to pay the house fee

The girls I know there are changing their stage names pretty frequently tbh. They tell me that the conventions bring in so many new people it's more fun to just switch it up. There is a cocktail server there that hands out a business card which made me lol. I've only been to CH3 once so maybe ask someone else. Rhino is my usual haunt, Sapphire in 2nd place. Also worth noting that a lot of girls fly in from California just to work weekends, and once they have a performer card some girls will work different clubs depending on which house fee they feel like paying
