Since we're a little juiced up we moved to a few casinos and tried to watch D smack another jackpot, but no more luck. After he dumped a few hundred in a couple casinos I decide I want to play one last poker session and head back to Caesars.

We get in to a 1/2 game that's pretty boring and tight, but I win a few hands with some 3 bets pre and win a decent pot with KJss against a guy who min raised J9os from the button when we both flop the J.

A couple people leave the game and we are 5 or 6 handed when the only decent mark at the table gets up (the J9 guy). I told D we should head down the road and I'll play to my big blind. 2 hands later I'm under the gun with AA and raise to 10. D raises to 30 on the button. **This is where is sucks to play shorthanded with your buddies and you're not a dick**
I make it 100 fairly quickly and tell D to just fold... he has about 300 and I have 400. He says how sick the hand is and then I know I can take all his chips... I asked him if he was really that strong and that I dont believe him... I know I got him after this comment and immediately feel guilty and tell him again to just fold and that I have him beat much more convincing without saying I have AA... me mucks and shows KK and I show AA and rack up.

Hind sight, I would have felt terrible talking him into that call or letting him stack off, but then I remember he just won over $4k. Hahaha.

And literally right now as I'm writing this he is about to win between $1k on another slot!!!

Dang it, should have taken his $300. Lol

I am not planning to play slots, but I may have to in hopes I get some of D luck to stickum on me.

I hate them and ran 100 through one and felt ****ty afterwards. Haha.

But I actually enjoy watching him play win or lose if it is a fun game I can understand.

Here is my suggestion to hopefully not feel so ****ty.

Use the point counter to track/control your play. Here is how it works.

Break your hundred into smaller bills, preferably fives. For Caesars properties, five dollars in equal one point.

When you reach that one point, cash out and stick another five in if you want to keep playing that machine.

If you are playing in a casino without counters, divide the money you put in by the amount of your bet. This will give you the number of times you can push the button for the money you put in. Cash out at that time.

You can get some strange things on the Vegas strip but stranger things doesn't seem to be one of them.

A fight just broke out at the heart bar in planet Hollywood. Security had to come handcuff them and take them away. One of the guys had blood dripping down his face. Monday morning fight night!

Also, I looked into the Raiders ticket selection process and the only thing I could find is the spot to reserve for $100 again and nothing on picking them. Did you pick yours already?

Overall great trip with no complaints. Had too much fun at the poker tables with D to ever play higher than 1/2, but I don't regret it. See ya next year!

Nice trip.

The raiders are selling the tickets in 3 phases. Phase 1 was for the club seats and those are already sold out. Phase 2 was for premium seating and I believe that is sold out too. Phase 3 is for the reserve seats and I think those go on sale this month. Phase 3 may have even started already I’m not sure.
