maybe investigators get 6 different stories as opposed to 8. antonio cannot be looking forward to dragging a massive fly swatter to court.

You really think that it would be a crime to receive stolen funds despite having no knowledge they were stolen? You seem to be obsessed with this idea despite not thinking particularly hard or well about it.

Well, let's start with whoever was hosting that private game in a State which frowns upon unlicensed gambling businesses. Then there are X number of other players.

Start with her bringing a safe to the game .....

I think you could expect some portion of her losses to be refunded by the winners.
