Did you think swatting your hand a couple of plastic toys would magically make them change their minds?

Acting like a douche is one thing. Trying to justify it makes it worse. I have zero sympathy for you. Zero.

Of course not...does a player usually think that smashing their mouse after a bad beat will make them win the pot?

I don't think I was trying to justify what I did at all. Just describe it. I've said at least four times in the thread that it was a very stupid thing to do.

California. Five-ish years or so ago they passed a new law. You can't buy booze at any self-serve register any more, by law.

This entire awesome thread is the off-the-felt equivalent of the "Hi Dad, it's me Billy...." story.

She was actually a Tinder date that I just met that night. She was the one who insisted that we buy a bottle to take up to my room. But she did let me stay with her after I got evicted (at around 5am in the morning at that point). She even offered to drive me to the airport for my flight about 24 hours later. But I ended up having to get an Uber there because she dragged me to a party at Spearmint Rhino the next night and I had to drive her home in her car when she took some sort of drug there that totally spaced her out.

I had no idea about that either. Just recently, we went to Memphis with my parents and they asked my dad for his ID when he ordered beer at dinner. He gave the waitress a WTF look and didn't do anything, so I got my ID out and that satisfied her. I kinda thought that was a weird hillbilly thing, never occurred to me it could be law.

Wow, you are a true gentleman (for tinder standards). Just drive her car to the airport and leave it there? If you feel nice, send her a message to tell her it's at the airport. If you really want to go out of your way, also let her know where you parked it exactly.

Shortly after the law was passed, there was an attempt- perhaps lighthearted- that would exempt folks 100 years old or older from having to produce ID when they bought beer. It did not pass.

I've noticed a recent trend in some of the chain grocery stores (since they're now allowed to sell wine) that require you to remove your DL from your wallet, then scan the back of it so that they can verify that the clerk actually asked you for ID.

On several occasions while dining out, I have overheard 40ish year old women gleefully exclaim to their husband or date after being carded by the server, "See, even that waiter doesn't think I look old enough to drink!"

A tough way to get banned? I don't think so. Sounds more like a sure-fire way to get nixed.

OP goes into a shop with his date to get a bottle of whiskey. Date doesn't have her ID so OP tries to buy it and is refused. Clerk and "three or four" other clerks try in vain to explain to OP why he can't buy it. OP has a 38 year old version of a temper tantrum and knocks merchandise off the shelf and onto the floor. Security is present and forceably restrain him from causing further damage. OP is issued a misdemeanor citation- likely for willful destruction of property- and is banned from CET properties.

OP is fortunate that those plastic toys weren't Tiffany lamps. I'm also quite skeptical that OP is the one that had security summoned.

Yeah, I've never heard of a misdemeanor warning, as OP described it. Only misdemeanor citations or charges. OP, were you given a citation by P.D.?

As far as the ban, casinos want their policies respected, so they're probably not inclined to lift recent bans as it undermines the point of banning a bit. I would wait about 6 months before attempting your ban lift request so that in their eyes you'll have adhered to their ban for a while. I wouldn't get my hopes up though, since your act was physically threatening, they might want to make you wait at least a year.

The only thing I was given by the police officer was a small pink form saying "Clark County Misdemeanor Warning". There's a list of possible "infractions" that can be checked off; the only one checked off in my case is "Trespass". And at the bottom is says "No Court Appearance Required".

They wouldn't cite you for trespass unless you came back. Apparently the warning makes it official.

Re: Anyone have experience being trespassed at CET over something minor?

I wouldn't take it lightly at all by showing up since you can be arrested for trespassing which means you will be arrested and have it on your record.

Plus, they could free-roll by letting you gamble and then taking everything at the cashier's window since you knew not to be there.

Best bet is to write letter and say sorry. Generally it may not be best to admit to what you did since that could be used against you. Just sincerely apologize, say you will respect whatever the punishment is, beg for forgiveness and say you would like to return as soon as possible and you promise never to do anything again since you know the next time is a lifetime ban.

Don't say what you did was minor. Tell them it was major and you understand it was disruptive and agree with their zero-tolerance policy. Thank them for their quick response and ensuring this was handled internally and not reported to the police which they could have done.

Their house, their rules. Let it rest for 9 months and not get near their property. At that point ask/beg for permission and tell them you have learned your lesson.

If the use of the word "snowflake" in a non-meterological context didn't give it away, the original advice to apologize in writing and take some sort of anger management class is solid, and the idea that doing so makes you a beta cuck libtard is stupid.

There are two types of people in this world, people who serve their egos and people whose egos serve them.

OP, you ****ed up.

Now swallow your pride and fix it.

Write a nice letter. Make some phone calls. Call people sir and ma'am and use please and thank you. If they seem hesitant, ask them, "What can I do to show you that I am serious?" And if you need to, take some anger management courses or join AA or go down on the security guard or whatever needs to be done to fix your mistake.

Or, alternatively, walk away and claim that Caesars sucks anyway and you don't mind being banned and you ain't gonna get down on your knees and beg.

Re: Anyone have experience being trespassed at CET over something minor?

Here are a couple of posts from a guy on 2+2 that worked in security. Thread was started by someone that was banned from MGM properties.

Throw in a little more fluff, yadda yadda yadda, but in all actuality I've seen at minimum 20 of those letters in our office.

Number of times I've seen the higher ups go "hey, lift this ban and let him back in!"....exactly 0.

In the end, it's all politics, just like any other office.
Based on those responses I wouldn't be optimistic. The OP never gave an update saying the ban was lifted either.

I'm not sure who Sam P and Tony Big Charles are. But Carter Gill and David Diaz were both supposedly banned from the WSOP for life, and yet back to playing less than a year later. I don't know when or why Stealthmunk was banned (or even if he was), but he played and cashed in WSOP events last yeat. So is it really that hard?

I'm not sure getting banned is necessarily the biggest problem that occurred that evening any longer.

And I responded and told him what he did was the gentleman move. I also said that other (tinder) people would just drop of the car at the airport. Maybe you should work on your reading comprehension before trying to lecture others.

After reading all the things that don't work to get reinstated, Is there anybody who has a story about how they (or someone they know) were allowed back?
