What are the odds of bars and strip clubs being open by 8/14? Is there anything close to a strip club operating right now or by then?

I'd stick to 8 spot keno.

There are non-gambling activities going on currently, but your interest seems a bit more narrow .... so, generally,

Bars without food, not likely.

Bars with food, more likely, especially in a casino that is open.

Clubs, not likely

Strip clubs, no.

Brothels, no.

Hookers, probably.

(Just my guesses, but do you really want to gamble for such stakes ?)

Nothing operating now and 0% probability by 8/14. Some sources have stated that strip clubs might not be cleared to open at all any time in 2020 and I'd say that's a pretty good prop bet.

For non-gambling you'd have to do golf, hiking (most trails open) or shooting guns in the desert (just make sure you're on the right land and follow the rules). I guess you can also add bowling to that list, if that's your thing.

You think the strippers turned to full time hooking or they are getting unemployment?

Both obviously.

I wonder how they would explain the hours they "worked" for the week and have to report to unemployment lol.

With hookers you probably still have a higher chance of getting gonorhea than coronavirus, so if you are normally ok with that, nothing should stop you now. Anyway, it's not like you are face to face with a hooker the way you would be with a waiter. You can even keep your mask on if you are the fussy type.

If the Clark County outdoor shooting range is open, that is definitely worth a visit. You can rent a firearm or bring your own.

I thought casino bars where closed? You can still get a drink on slots etc. and most pits I think will let you order drinks. That being said don't think there's any casino bar where you can go up and order a drink.

I think casino bars aren't open but, someone else perhaps a local can confirm.

I had thought the pinball museum closed after the whole failed attempt to move to the strip. I believe it's now open though according to recent reviews from trip advisor. Looks like you'll need to wear a face mask which is a good thing.

Not sure why I'm even looking into this stuff I have no interest to visit the city until things get back to normal.

Here in LV bars that do not serve food are closed and any other establishment that is open has to close the bar area. You can get served everywhere else tho.

This is me sitting at the Bond Bar at the Cosmo last month

I also sat and drank at the lower level of the Chandelier Bar on my trip, as well as the bar in the Sports Book.

At Bellagio I sat and had a beer at the sports book bar as well.

arcdog, they made the change since you've been there (I was there at the same time). The bars at Cosmo have stayed open since by adding a food menu, but I don't think seating at the bar is allowed.

If bar seating is allowed, then I'd like to know as I booked another trip next month.

No bar seating would blow if out there on a solo trip.

Not possible. Bond bar at Cosmo was closed a year ago.
