Best alley to join a league? Favorite alley? Im a 200+ avg bowler ill be back to living in Vegas in May, bowling is the one thing I havent done in Vegas that I enjoy in Cali
I went to Orleans once and seeing a 100-lane alley is pretty awesome. When I was younger, I always used to get annoyed when I tried to bowl in the early evenings and there was no lanes available due to leagues at a 40-lane alley in California.
Best competitive leagues: South Point scratch Trios, Suncoast, Orleans Tuesday Mixed.
Best Fun/Recreational Mixed leagues:
Orleans & Gold Coast - they do short season "have a ball" leagues where you pay your dues in a tier system and get a new ball from Storm at the end of the 12-13 weeks.
Thursday nights @ RedRock (50+ teams)
Easiest House shot: Suncoast, Sams Town, Sunset Station.
It all kind of depends on which side of town you feel like bowling in. Many many options.
I'm looking to join a couple summer leagues, but i haven't bowled in a few years so not sure how to get on a team.
I filled out some form on the southpoint website, and i have an email for the orleans league secretary i can contact.
Any opinions on the best 2 or 3 evening summer leagues I should attempt to join?
Or if anyone is short a person, PM me. I just drilled a 900 global zen and I was able to shoot between 150-186 scores my first session back at red rock lanes.
I plan on upgrading with 1-2 more strike balls, a spare ball, and some new shoes and accessories shortly.
Also would love to hear recs for local coaches. I plan on improving my initial average a lot throughout the summer so think I'd be a good addition to any team looking to win a handicap league.
Would love to play at southpoint since it's also my main poker room, but i would be fine playing at orleans, red rock, or gold coast too. I'd make the drive further out to sams town or suncoast if the league seems extra cool i suppose.
