Am I maximising the Caesars rewards correctly? Am I maximising the Caesars rewards correctly?

I am going to Vegas for the first time this year and am figuring out how casino rewards work. The Diamond Tier at Caesars looks useful. You need 15K tier points in a year to qualify.

The perks are substantial:

1) no resort fees
2) 15% off hotel costs.
3) $100 food credit
4) 2x $50 worth of points you can give to a friend.
5) at least one free night in a property.

The Caesars rewards system gives you 5 tier credits for every $1 spent on hotel room rates and resort fees. You also get 10K bonus tier points if you earn 5k in a day. So if I spend $1K in a day on booking a hotel, do I just immediately become a diamond member? Or have I missed some weird T&C here? I feel like this makes it bizarrely easy to qualify for all the benefits, surely I am missing something?

Is the correct play to just book a single short stay costing just over $1,000, become a diamond member, then book the rest of my stay (at the discounted rate) and enjoy all the rewards?

Have I understood this correctly?

The rewards system is here: https://www.caesars.com/total-rewards/earn-and-redeem

This is probably very basic for you guys but I want to get it right because qualifying for benefits in the correct order seems to lead to huge price changes.

Thanks

A $1k hotel stay would get 5k tier credits, making you platinum, not diamond.

The tier credits post to your account about 7 business day after you complete your stay.

I had the same question myself. Stayed at Harras New Orleans in early April. I got the 5tc per dollar spent but no daily bonus on top.

Other advantages include line passes to many events, including poker room signups, cashiers, hotel registration and shows, restaurants; free use of fitness centers and most (not all) attached spas; 1 free anywhere night for every 5k TC; free early check-in and late check-out at hotels; free coffee makers in those hotels (many seem to be fading them out; Linq I think wanted to charge me $10/day to get one, but waived that cause ... Diamond); free parking and valet.

The daily tc bonus is on casino play only.

The 5x for hotel stays is a promo they are doing now and may not ever do again. The $100 food thing is an annual celebration dinner, you have to use it all at once.

You can also skip the poker lines over summer. Hopping the lines at rio during wsop is printing money and pays for diamond pretty fast.

Last year many of the lines were Seven Star only since it’s absurdly easy to get diamond now.
