Every gambler loses money. All one of them start a mass murder rage. Hard to pin it on that alone.

Right. It seems obvious he had severe mental illnesses. Was he the sickest of the sick, or did something that can be identified set him off?

Confirmed. I just lost on those and felt emotionally unstable.

Yeah... Even best players in the world seem suspect
Why would a top video poker player need free housing after a divorce? If you won a million dollars, why would you need such assistance?

The documents said Paddock had received an email from a Gmail account in July encouraging him to try an AR-style rifle before buying one. It said, "we have huge selection" in the Las Vegas area.

Paddock wrote back that he wanted to try several scopes and different types of ammunition. An email in response suggested trying a bump stock on the rifle with a 100-round magazine.

Paddock's email address and the Gmail address had similar names. Investigators say they suspect he may have been emailing himself, but couldn't figure out why.

Lol, can't imagine what they think this is going to help. Personally I'd be happy to stay there and would never think about it I was on the same floor or not.

It helps prevent people from specifically asking to stay in that room since now they (presumably) won't know what room number it is.

I thought they never publicized exactly what room the shooter was in. But if they did, it won't take much effort to figure out what the new number is, if someone wants it. A more effective solution would be to just not honor any requests for the room.

Just ask for floor 57. They advertised what it will be renumbered to, so what difference does it make

I thought they said they would never rent that room again. It's a big suite so it was probably empty most of the time anyway.

My thoughts exactly, they said it would be blocked off and never used again.
But then again, this is Vegas and everything is swept under the carpet and move on. Sad.

No indication that they will rent out the room again. I doubt that they will. Although the OJ suite is popular at Palace Station. At least there nobody died.

What would be sad to me would be irrationally closing down perfectly good housing while there are people living in the street.

Does anyone have a good reason for never using that room? The only reason I can think of would be if it is uniquely positioned for the kind of attack that occurred there, in a way that is unfixable, which seems extremely unlikely.

Because they don't need any jagoffs hashtagging their stay in the murder room, and you better believe people would.

I would imagine there is a rather large number of people who would like to rent that specific room due to its notoriety. Not a place I would ever want to stay.

I would imagine there is a rather large number of people who would like to rent that specific room if they thought they could get a good deal on it.
