Number 28 on list at Aria and I waited an hour for a 1-3 seat. Most of the names ahead of me didn’t show up when called. Only had 13 tables of cash games due to the 11am tourney. The same cashier handles tourney buyins and cash game chips. Takes forever to get chips after they call you.
Sat down to a table that had three guys older than me and none of them had stacks over $200. Ugh. I splashed around for a while never moving far from my $200 buyin. Then I called $20 raise on button with 7c2c cuz I wanted to steal a pot and show it. Four people saw flop of 9s6d2c. Original raiser bets $35 and everybody calls. Turn is 4h and they all check. I went all in for $116 and they all fold. Didn’t have the balls to show it. Poker pussy. Then I moved tables.
I lost about $200 at new table when i called an all in turn bet with top pair and open end straight draw. River bricked and I topped off another $200. A lady in her 60’s sat down and was raising to $15 on almost every hand. I had 8c6c when two people called in front of me. I called. BB went all in for $36 more. We all called. Flop was Kh7s5s. The original raiser (lady) bet $100 and I called thinking I’d shove if a spade came or I made my straight. Turn was 3c and she checked. I bet $200 since she had about $300 left. She took forever to fold so I won the side pot. River was Qh and the all on guy shows an ace. I say “that’s good” and mucked.
Then a while later I ran top two pair AQ into a set of K’s and lost about $300. Made quad 3’s on very next hand to win it back. Cashed out $658 and headed to Lotus of Siam.

Noon tourney at Resorts World today. Got there two hours early and sat down at 1/3 game. There were three young Asian guys in a row with at least $600 each and three old guys all under $100. Gave chip runner my $300 and watched two hands. In each hand first Asian guy makes it $20 and one of the other Asians calls. Heads up. Then they agree to check it down and flip over their cards. Hands like K4 v J8. I picked up my chips and cashed out. I told the floor guy that it seemed certain players were not going to play against each other and I wanted no part of it.

RW opened a new 1/3 game and we decided to kill an hour before the tourney splashing around in that. Only hand to note was my SB with 10h9h and raiser made it $15 and four of us saw flop which was 8h6s2c. A non-raiser led out $22 and we all called. Turn was 7c. BINGO!! guy led out $75 and I called. River was Qh and he checked. I shoved and he snap called. 
Looks like I’m free-rolling the tourney.

The tourney structure was great. Blinds gradually increase. Levels increase to 30 minutes after first break. Only one hand to really note. I flopped top set and called a river shove to double up to 90k in level 7. Might have been close to chip lead.
I got 8th place and it paid $462. At 2nd break I had about 150k and it went south from there. Stole some blinds and ran one bluff to stay alive til final table. I shoved under the gun with KQ when the blinds were gonna take 20% of my stack. BB called with pocket J’s and I was out.
I missed dinner. My wife went to Julian Serrano’s Tapas with my friend and his dad. I ate a double from Posh Burger at Aria
Now it’s cash game at Aria.

Thx. I have run good so far. Pretty much avoided getting wrecked and won the few big pots I’ve been in and my wife is a saint. Today she said she had 21,000 steps in yesterday. I told her I had that many shitty hands dealt to me.
