Finally back home from Vegas! The 2+2 party is definitely one of the highlights of my trip.

I was also at the studugi8/2ndLHE table for most of the night and there was some crazy action. I have never played limit before that night and it was a lot of fun. I ran like god in the double board O8 game and somehow managed to scoop on multiple occasion. It was hilarious when the guy next to me won 1/8 of the pot for chopping the low on one of the boards. The dealers have no idea what was going on, I don't think anyone does.

After my first table broke I got moved into the actual poker room and played some more mixed games. I remember at one point playing 2-7TD at around 4am, I leaned over to my neighbour to show off my sick 7-low after patting my 2nd and 3rd draw, only to be told Ace is high after I capped every street. At 4:30 the cocktail waitress was making her rounds and I made a joke about ordering patron shots to the guy sitting beside me. Minutes later, the patron was staring me down and it took some serious will power to not vomit all over the felt. That was definitely the knock out punch for me, I left the Wynn at around 5am, with 2 tables still going strong.

I thought it was a great party. I made the horrible mistake of not sitting in any of the nutty games. I didn't know anyone there (I'm not here enough to have 2+2 buddies really) so I just took a pass. In retrospect, there can't possibly be a better way to _make_ 2+2 buddies than playing in those games, so that was super lame of me.

I did get to meet Dynasty and talk to him briefly...very nice guy; glad to meet you.

Next year ima gonna get more involved for sure.

I did have a laugh when I approached a group of 2+2ers in the lounge by the sportsbook around 9:15 and said I was wondering where I could pick up my Lanyard, to which they said "Oh, you have to be a part of this internet forum to get one, sorry."

"You mean 2+2? I'm actually a Mod."

The look on their faces was worth coming to the party alone, lol.

And while I never did get my lanyard (despite posting an alcohol-induced bounty of $20 on twitter), Shaniac was kind enough to give me his (so yes, Zero, he is everywhere ).

I had a great time playing the games and seeing so many new friends that I have been lucky enough to get to know this summer.

In hindsight, we should've ordered a mixed shot. At least neither one of use puked eh?

and yeah, eventually some players were stuck enough to want to just flip to get unstuck and play indian omaha high only, no cap pre. When this level of degeneracy was determined, $50 cap pre omaha and nl post was born.

I didn't play but by like 1/2 am a no limit blind man's bluff game moved into the regular Wynn poker room. Me and my friends were leaving so we only saw a few hands but people had like $1k+ stacks and were going all-in pre-flop.

I rather enjoyed the crazy games, my favorite was of course my emergency high on PLO, where I totally misplayed my hand....oops
