can we talk about adding a +/- feedback system on here? i am apart of 3 other forums that all have it, and i will talk to the admins over there but i can't imagine it being all that difficult to implement.

going through an individual persons feedback is so much easier than looking through a gigantic thread that nobody seems to care about updating.

i will be the first to say i am not tech savvy so i don't know if this software can handle it but i'm pretty sure most newer versions of bulletin should have the capabilities to add this? the last forum i was on that added the feedback system was down for about 24 hours to get it up and running. i know that would not be ideal, just throwing a suggestion out there.

I have a bit of an oddball question about the market place that I have not seen yet, but first, YES, I know I will not get approved for the MP any time soon. Future reference inquiry only.

I play at Carbon. I am soon to attempt my first withdrawal. Should the process take too long for my taste, or issues occur, I will be looking to offload my funds by other means.

Carbon, however, no longer offers P2P transfers.

So, I ask : Is it allowed to offer a chip dump via ring table in exchange for other payment such as GDMP, WU, Etc... ?

You can buy action, trade in the GC forum with thread-starters, apply for staking, offer and apply for staking in the <6 months Staking thread, and buy anything offered in the other subforums.

Each thread has rules that are enforced.
Read the Stickies.

Also
Those who lurk or come back in 6 months and think Approval is automatic are wrong.
You might receive this from me when you apply:
"The Marketplace was originally set up for the benefit of regular Two Plus Two Forum users.
You don't have enough recent or overall forum activity on this site for your account to be given approval."

Shipped means money has been sent. Has nothing to do with postage.

Hey guys

I would like to know what requirements are necessary to open a post on the online staking forum. I would be so grateful if you could help me because I'm really interested in offering tournaments schedules.

I have been an active member on other poker forums (other languages) and i have been playing online Mtts since 3 years ago.

Is there any introduction forum where could I post some graphs or something?

Cheers

Fran

I once saw a site (very clean and user friendly) where you can manage and keep track of your poker stable. I'm not sure but i think it had a monthly/year fee .

Don't really remember the name and if i saw it at 2+2 or other forum.

Anyone can help me?

Back in 2012 I bought a piece of a live poker player and he got 2nd in a WSOPC tourney. I got back 5% which was about 3,600. He won about 72,000, He said he sent me a 1099 form but I never got it. First time I've had to deal with poker taxes. Do I need this form to do my taxes. Should I be trying to get that form asap? What do people that buy action typically do in this situation? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

posting this to settle a mini friendly dispute, maybe you can help.

Chico buys in to a tournament for $365, his 3 friends buy into another $250 tournament. The four agree on 5% of each other, but to make up for the difference in buy in amounts, the 3 other players are to give Chico $6. Chico cashes for $1704, the other 3 players don't cash.

how much would Chico owe the other 3.

I don't understand the $6 thing? Seems unfair to Chico.

I guess Chico gives 5% apiece, or $85.20.

I believe since you didn't exchange money for your piece you take out the buyin so (1704-365)*.05

They gave $6 each bc that was the difference between 5% of the smaller buyin and the larger buyin that they swapped.

As I read it each own 5% of each other, and each player has 15% of his action sold to the others. Each needs swap nothing for the first $250 of buy-in and it cancels out. For the extra $115 that Chino's tourney costs beyond that $250, the remaining 3 players should each have paid $5.75 to Chino, which they did with the $6. So all pieces are paid for, each player has claim to 5% of every other players' prizes. Each has effectively paid 85% of their own buy-ins.

Chino collects $17.25 with the add-on money, in addition to the $37.5 stakes with from others which are cancelled out by what he bought in their action. He still pays more up front but he also owns 85% of a more valuable tourney, which is probably where confusion would come up.

After the events all the winners have to do is distribute 5% shares out. There's only one winner so it's easy, $1704 x .05 is $85.20 per player as posted above. Although to be technically correct, it would be $85.45 since Chino still owes each player a quarter change back from the $6.

Chino should have $1,448.40 remaining after payouts (not counting the .75 he owes), which reflects his 85 percent stake in himself. $17.25 (the add-on $6 x 3), $37.5.

There's a good tax sticky and general USA tax discussion here:
