Hey guys... I don't post on 2+2 often, but am an avid poster on P5s, under the handle "ManchVegasPwn". I was looking to create a BAP for the series coming up at Foxwoods, but I am not marketplace approved yet. I did all the steps necessary, and have been a 2+2 member for several years.

Just not sure why I haven't been approved yet. If I am not approved soon, it will probably be too late for me to sell action, and I will end up paying for a hotel room that I will not be able to go to. Would appreciate if anyone has any advice for me.

I agree it was poor planning on my part, but it was kind of a last minute decision, because my friend P0KERDUUDE sold out his BAP a couple weeks ago for the same events, and I told him I would go with him... I didn't realize it would take weeks, or even months to get approved for marketplace. In the Rules page, it says it will take 2-3 days.

I didn't think to create a BAP on P5s, because 2+2 is widely recognized as the best site for doing BAPs, and theres probably not enough investors in the P5s community, so I prefer 2+2.

In the future, I will make sure to be putting my BAPs up well in advance. This is my first one I've ever tried to do, so I'm obv inexperienced at it. Not inexperienced in NLHE MTTs tho,

As I have racked up over $1.4mill in prizes and over $225k profit in my short career. I thought I could sell my action pretty quickly as my game translates very well to the live structured MTTs, with a very solid disciplined game, but capabilities of exploiting my own image to my advantage, and extremely stack-size aware, which majority of east-coast players, are not.

Hey Rainbow Warrior... I sent u a PM about a week ago regarding getting marketplace approved, and I have not heard anything about when I will be able to create a BAP. I was hoping to be able to put one up for the series coming up at Foxwoods (October 14th-28th) I have completed all the steps, and have my BAP already typed out, just need to get the approval so I can get my name out there.

Well, cake .. uptil maybe a month ago, had a bad record with payouts on time.. alot of people would wait 5+ months for their checks to reach their house. Apart from that, their new minimum cashout is 500$ (but i emailed them anyways once saying i wasnt aware of this and it should be made more clear... and they said they would cash out under 500 if i wanted as long as it was my full balance) Cake is full of fish anyways so you can rack up that 500 quick if you play smart.. and they stepped up their game with cashouts.. ppl are getting them in 2 weeks or less now. I cant say thats the case for ev1.. some ppl wait 3 - 3 1/2 weeks im sure.. but most stories lately are nothing but good news.

With that said.. its still ridiculous these people charging 50% vig on cake.. thats pathetic. There are deposit fees for cake.. if u wanna deposit 50.. u gotta pay like 54. So why would someone pay MORE to deposit.. and then cash it out at half its value? I like ur question, cause i find it ludicrous too... cake money has a dollar for dollar matched face value as real cash, ppl just try emphasizing "PAY ME 50%.. OR U CAN WAIT A YEAR FOR UR MONEY" to make ppl agree to it.. but the reality of it isnt that bad.

Also have seen other Ads like it that were never locked??

Question; Why was it locked after so long and if it was a rule violation is there a forum where I can post such an Ad ?

Is Moneybookers a safe way to receive money or is there some way it can go wrong? I thought I saw something on here about it in a sticky and to avoid it. Once the money's in my moneybookers account it's not going to disappear or anything like that?

I have a question: if buy action from someone from the US and they bink something, in order to get the money pre-tax is there any other way to do that besides giving a random guy my SSN and other personal data?

I have bought some hats in the marketplace. The seller only accepts paypal because he is in the US. I don't have paypal but have moneybookers and can also do stars.

Am I able to post a request somewhere for me to send someone money by mb or stars and for them to send it to the sellers paypal for me?

Transfers aren't allowed in the marketplace. I would try asking a friend from uNL. Or PM mike haven and find out if thats allowed in the xfers thread
