bah. I just sent a request for MP approval but am about 2 and a half weeks short of this requirement. No biggie, I can wait. I just hope this oversight on my part isn't used against me when I re-apply on the 31st as I'm looking forward to getting into the staking side of poker for once.

If you're looking to get staked (aka receive money to play) then there is a "Members Under 6 Months Staking" thread that Bobo made. It's there since a lot of new members come to the site for staking and don't really want to wait the 6 months to make their own threads. Should be easy to find in the staking section. I'm not sure if you're a staker and looking to stake horses if you can solicit in there or not.

I'm not sure where to ask or if there was a thread in the staking forum for this. But I'm currently a US staked player in a small amount of make-up and my backer lives in the UK. I currently don't have a way to play unless I go to a smaller site, but hesitant in case they crack down on those ones too. So my question is how do I handle the makeup since it's kinda silly to mail a money order and I can't play. Obviously this being a completely random situation changes things and hasn't come up before. But if there's any backers who have any thoughts (or anyone) then that'd be great.

I'd post this question in this thread too for more responses.

Hello everyone. I have played professionaly for the last 2.5 years and have been very successful in cash games, mainly $5-$10 live. I am wanting to branch out into tournies. I have only played in 4 in the last year but I did take 1st in a venetian deep stack in November for $26k. My question is that with me not having entered too many tournaments how should I go about trying to get staked for some of the upcoming wsop events. I only want to sell half of about $15k total buy ins. Any suggestions on how I should go about this and if you all think theres a decent chance. I am just new to tourney staking. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm looking to sell a high value poker related domain name. It is currently setup with a rakeback skin, but that isn't the primary value of what is being sold, and the site itself could be disabled if absolutely needed to stay within 2+2 policies.

Would this be allowed in the marketplace?

Anyone know where I can purchase a customizable card protector with a picture of my own. I searched google but no luck.

Thanks in advance

PM Bobo Fett, he will have the right answer for you and even be able to set you up and give you pricing quotes etc.

Hi

I tried to get market place approved before but was denied due to being banned from PTP. This was for not updating a rail , i shipped the money back to the backer after originally sending it to the wrong account.

I am an honest guy , i have had a few staking deals since this. I can get references to prove that my motives are pure.

All im asking is that i can post 1 thread with hope of getting a new deal. Black friday has done me out of my old one and Im struggling to find a new workable deal.

One thread , one time.

How do you send money to the wrong account? You can get an appeal on PTP if I'm not mistaken. Also just an FYI of my understanding of it. But the MP is a privilege not a right. If the mods/blues/reds feel that you're an unsafe user for the MP given your history on PTP then they have every right to do so. But I'd probably start with PTP and an appeal.

Is there anyway to speed up approval for market place. I am aware there is a waiting time and I did only request access a few days ago but I'm looking to sell action ASAP for an upcoming live MTT (starts in 7 days). Tried pm'ing the mods tna. btw I will have some at least 1 very solid ref in my stake request.

Fair enough if its a wait and see but can't be any harm in trying right?

Probably one of the things you can do to help speed it up would be to forward them your poker site names, any links to other forum names/account (such as PTP) and details and explanation of any problems you've had.

I literally thought of this just now and this has not been standard in the past but my guess is some mods, if not all, are checking into applicants history etc now, where in the beginning it mostly revolved around being 6 months old and any glaring issues. I think it's much broader now so my suggestion would be to assist them by making a possible search consolidated easier for them do do.

Also, you may want to PM Rainbow Warrior, gtpitch, or one of the other marketplace mods if you PM'd Bobo Fett days ago simply because BF has more duties. (lol sorry RW and GTP)

I PMed you asking about your connections to other 2p2 members that you share several IPs with. Also, while not against the rules, I am curious why you seem to view 2p2 through a proxy.

cheers for taking a look JL. I work at a large multinational IT firm (at work now ) dealing with multiple secure contracts and as mentioned in PM Syker12 works at my place too.
