This may take some explaining, so bear with me. Today, I came across an opportunity to buy about as many cases of Red Bull Energy Shots (the 2 Oz ones) as I like for what I think is a ridiculous price. When I saw that opportunity, my first thought was that I might be able to turn them for a profit on 2+2, b/c I usually take a 5 Hour Energy shot before I'm gonna settle in for a long session online.

I have not purchased them yet, and I have no idea how long it would take for me to get them in my hands. I'm guessing about a week. The shots come 24 to a case, and I can get up to 400 cases or so. I don't think I would be interested in getting that many, but I do want to pick up quite a few especially if there is a market for them here on 2+2.

Lastly, I do not know what the expiration date is on these, but I doubt that it would make any significant difference. I will find out this information tomorrow during business hours.

What I'd like to know is:
1. Would there be any issues in listing something like this in the marketplace?
2. Any other feedback I should know about before doing this?

Anyway - what you're describing sounds like it'd be more for the commercial marketplace. I'll PM Bobo and see what he thinks but with that much volume its almost definitely going to be.

FWIW, it's a one time opportunity, not something that I do all the time. I just figured it would fit in with the online crowd, so I thought I would ask first.

I asked for 2 reasons.
1. I knew that it might be viewed that way (commercial) and
2. I haven't committed any monies to it to get them yet, so I wanted to see about gauging interest before I did.

At this point, I've worked a deal with a buddy of mine to buy 46 cases. Don't ask why 46, it just gets complicated and messy. At the price I mentioned initially, it really doesn't yield that much, so it wouldn't make sense to deal with the commercial listing fees on top of all the shipping and whatnot. If it makes any difference to whether I could list it in the normal marketplace or not, that's the max I would offer on the front end. Likely, we'd probably try to turn some locally as well, so probably less than that initially. That said, if they sold super quick, we'd be inclined to amp it up by getting more to turn, but that's making an awful lot of assumptions.

Bobo/gtpitch, if the volume is the issue, would you have a problem with me listing say 30-40 cases @ the original price I mentioned earlier up front, then transitioning to a commercial listing if the demand justifies the cost? Just a thought.

If it makes any difference, I can show you where I am getting this from and what all my costs would be to kind of give you an idea of where I'm coming from with this.

You need the physical card to use at the location afaik. The code and pin would only be good for ordering cheesecake / desserts on their website.

Question about starting a thread in the rail section for a Mod, I recieved a stake and the backer wants me to start a thread and keep track in the rail section. I have submitted a request for access and am not sur eif I am not approved or it hasn't been visited yet. I always considered escrowing but reversals and fraudulent funds are scary. I would probably have stars confirm all the names and deposits prior to agreeing lol
