I think that would be a benefit for people when someone posts in their thread, or sends PM's about staking and trading.

I am somewhat sure it's been discussed before and won't happen.

That doesn't mean some people don't deserve it.

Not quite true though. For example, when that whole speedlimits rolling pokerbot thing went down, there was no indication at all, and if you dont read BBV/see that thread, then you probably wouldn't know. He was still free to post in threads (granted he caught **** whenever he posted, but that doesn't stop PM's), and PM people, which potentially could put more people at risk without any kind of warning. An under title would certainly alert people I think.

anyone who wasn't aware of the speedlimits saga who got scammed/whatever AFTER it took place couldn't possibly be afforded enough protection by us for it to make a difference. That seems like a bad example that way since it presumes the person did absolutely zero homework anyhow.

Eh, probably is a bad example, cuz I suck at that sort of thing. Oh well

it's not that I think the example sucks, it's a clear cut example of someone doing the wrong thing who probably should get labeled the harshest way possible- so in that sense it works. it's just that it's also a really good example of doing something to protect someone who won't protect themself.

note: I also don't necessarily disagree with the premise of some sort of label, but it's been discussed in forms before and I'm pretty sure it's not happening and I have no influence over changing that.

I was wondering, is it against the marketplace rules to pay someone to proofread a paper?

We have a general policy of not allowing homework for hire type threads.

If it's strictly a proofread/minimal edit type request I probably wouldn't have any issues with it but can't promise another mod doesn't look at it and not like it.

Thanks for the response. I was planning on writing a paper and just have someone check for clarity and grammar.

Would I be allowed to sell some Cuban cigars I have? I'm in the UK fwiw.

hmm. I think there may have recently been a thread similar to that maybe. Probably the type of thing we need to discuss and get back to you with an answer on- more because it wades into tobacco laws that vary from location to location than specifically about Cuban cigars.

I have a used 360, with a 10gb harddrive, two controllers, a headset, a dvd player style remote/controller, two legit games (godfather and table tennis) and a bunch of burned games. 360 is flashed awhile back, needs an updated flash to play newer burnt games. Has never been online and therefore isnt banned.
How much is fair price to be selling this on craigslist or kijiji?

What are the thoughts on people who have multiple items for sale of a similar nature? People that open up like 4 threads to sell the items? Seems like it would be better to have people contain their similar products in one thread instead of cluttering up the entire first page. Then when a new seller scams someone people will be able to see it faster than having to check on all the other random threads they set up.

e.g. all these size 8 shoe threads, one thread plz, or a marketplace kiddies subforum if you must.

I'd prefer threads that sell several items to multiple threads in some cases like that. I can see some possible issues but worth talking about and will bring it up in mod forum. Thanks.

I wish to sell some poker books and would like the money shipped to PS can I make a thread about this?

the process is to apply for marketplace approval as listed in the sticky thread. if/when approved yes you can make a thread for that.

I was wondering if it is allowed to sell ebooks on here? Is it frowned upon at all?
