**CLOSED** Holiday Season: Holiday Mod Gift Giving

Hello everyone:

I want to put something together for the mods that run this forum. I think what they do is such a great service to 2p2, and i would like to show my appreciation to them in the form of some maney's they can spend on whatever they like. I will be taking donations to my accounts (listed later) that will be given away to the mods that are listed in the MP forums.

Some mods dont want to be included, but tbh, i dont care what they want. If they dont personally want they money, than i encourage them to donate the money to a local charity of their liking that they want to help out. here is a list of mods that will be included in this "gift drive":

Rainbow Warrior
dlk9s
Bobo Fett
killa
Markusgc
Le Gonso
gtpitch
JL514
Suigin406

(tbh, i am partial to having apefish in this as well, so we are gonna include him)

apefish

Please send to me on the following names if you wish to contribute:

zima421 (clown and letter "S") FTP

zima421 (st. petersburg) Stars

I will have a horse of mine play for each mod in a SNG (to keep the mods screename private) and he will get the corresponding payout to my horses finishing position. All places will be paid in the SNG. I will post in the thread once we have a definite prizepool asking people's thoughts on what the payouts should be (more weight given to long standing members of the MP). all of this will be run by myself, and will be 100% random/fair.

All mods will be included.

I ask that everyone that uses the MP as a place of business/sweats/fun, please donate something. If you would like to remain nameless, just PM me with the site/name you sent from (100% wont share with anyone if you ask).

My partner and I will be donating 200 to this cause, and I hope we can get a decent prize pool this year.

SUP...?

Re: Holiday Season: Holiday Mod Gift Giving

Zima should be included in the list fwiw.

Sending $100 from No Name Fame on FTP on behalf of both Tinga and myself.

The work the mods do in Marketplace is the only reason this forum exists, and we appreciate their efforts greatly.

Re: Holiday Season: Holiday Mod Gift Giving

I have it on good authority that Gonso appreciates the sentiment but politely refuses. I know if he were not busy taking finals, he'd suggest that donations to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape and Atlantic County [NJ] would be more appropriate. They don't take FTP though.

Yes it looks scammy with the cheap website, but they're very low budget and broke like most non-profits right now.

Have a good holiday

Re: Holiday Season: Holiday Mod Gift Giving

Just saw this now. For me, I'll say that while it's very nice, it's certainly not necessary.

But it seems like it's going to happen regardless, and if that's the case, I'll find a worthy cause again. Last year I ended up with $100 and donated it to my friend's "The Ride to Conquer Cancer™" drive, which he certainly appreciated.

Re: Holiday Season: Holiday Mod Gift Giving

Awe, Zima and Marketplace mods. BF and LG have both given me infractions whenever I failed hard in the past but have been just as quick to answer my questions and provide me with aid when needed. RW is awesome and I'm a fan.

*apefish is amazing and certainly should get a shout out whenever "mod" and "epic" is used in the same sentence.

And augies gonna augie.

I'll donate something just to show my support for this cause. It won't be much but I do think if everyone who utilizes the Marketplace on a daily basis offered any $ amount just to show appreciation it would be quite significant.

Thank you Marketplace Moderators. I think Zima meshes well among you guys fwiw
