I imagine this question has been answered 100 times, but right now, what would you say the best coaching site is with regard to micro stakes (namely 25/50nl)? Also, please consider the value for money with any answers.

Much appreciated,
Dan

We cannot take site transfers, sorry. Rest assured we use the safest encryption for our CC transactions.

You can subscribe for 6-months or 1-year by sending payment with PayPal or MoneyBookers.

Go to your subscription page by logging in and clicking the green "Upgrade" button in the upper right corner of the screen. In the "Billing Info" area click "I prefer to pay via PayPal or Moneybookers."

You can get a FREE DC account, log into your basic DC account and go to My Offers to see the different ways you can get DC for free.

Thanks,
Joe

Since pms are allowed if u ask for something specifically + its a good test to see how active the sites are I would like suggestions for the best training site for:
50$ Abi MTT player with a roi of 30-40% aka semi-advanced material. Probably will insta sign up. I saw tournamentpokeredge i saw mtt academy, cr has very few videos and I have no idea about anything else for hardcore mtts players. Suggestions welcome- registration is certain. Thanx.

I have been on pokerstars for around 2 months, and made around $80 playing various cash games, SNGs and MTTs. Although i withdrew around $110/$140 of my bankroll for safety. I have decided to focus on SNG's and occasional MTTs.

I have been playing multitabling 8-12 $1.20 and $3.40 normal SNGs for 2 weeks and i have been winning overall but some swings are rather big and profit is slow. I am nearly silver star but would like to become an experienced SNG grinder.

My aim is to turn $20 into $1000 this summer and achieve gold star status. I am willing to sign up to an online poker training site but am struggling to decide what one. My goal for the end of summer would be able to beat $6.50 turbo's and multitable around 12-15 of them.

Any guidance on where to start improving my SNG game would be highly appreciated.

Adreny

Well they've been around since 2007 and this is the first time I've heard of it / seen it mentioned (and I'm sure that's the case for almost if not everybody here). Kind of answers your question without actually answering it?

It does seem legit in that they're not going to take your money and not deliver a product but without anybody reputable - if you look at their video listing and PTR/OPR the coaches isn't anybody there you'd want to take lessons from and in some cases the coach could benefit from more than a lesson or two himself.

When looking for a site I think it's always best to stick with the notable sites (Bluefire, CardRunners, DeucesCracked, DragTheBar, HUSNG, LeggoPoker). These guys have a reputation for a reason and have the membership (and subsequently income) to recruit better coaches / provide a better overall product.

I understand your hesitation (given that training sites are online businesses after all) but they not only have no reason to do anything with your credit card details but you also would have heard about it multiple times by now if they were.

Seriously. If DeucesCracked, CardRunners or any other site were to so much as double charge a customer and not refund them then there would be a thread about it somewhere.

My choice is poker savvy plus. They also have a 7 day free trial. The have a series devoted to 50 nl called the half dollar, and there are many sessions done on the beginner series at 25 nl. There are also fundamental series that cater to the micros.

In before the move to the training thread.

SNG Grinders would be a good choice. Not that expensive so it won't kill your bankroll and they focus only on SNG's they have a good group of video producers that play all different levels low to very high stakes.

I also see no need to make your e-mail public. Especially to a guy with 14 posts.

Anyone know about that site?
I just joined that site,,
1. they were nice to talk to in 2 emails where I discussed what I was looking for in a mtt site.
2. they had increased their video output since the last time I gave first impressions just on their website.
3.finally after the emails I decided to give it a try, and see the videos and if i dont' like it, i am only out 20 dollars and i can go on a new site next month.
4. in the meantime be interesting to see how it grows in the next month, as some of the things i was looking for they were going to look at. so i said give them a chance and see where it goes.
also look forward either way to posting a review in a month or two (i am still studying winning poker one hand at a time volume one so I want ot get that out of the way at least before i start to play a daily dollar a day.)

Ok, I've read most of this thread and many people asked for a review of PokerVT. I also noticed that a lot of people think it's not that good, but this is my view.

I've been a member of PokerVT for half a year or something. I've also been a member of grinderschool, sitandgogrinders and a short time on deuces cracked. I used to play mtt's and but now I play sng's, so that's mainly the videos I have watched on the site.

PokerVT's sng content is actually very good. Imo the best site I've been a member of, with sitngogrinders in second place. PokerDerk are putting out videos all the time, and abarone68 have started to make more. Spacegravy made a video guarantee this year, he will be making 3 new videos every month, so 36 videos this year. And for every month he don't make it he will invite a PVT member to his training centre for free. Right now he is moving his training centre to florida, but once he gets settled, he have promised to be more active in the forums as well. The other sng pros are already very active.

While I played mtt's I watched pearljammers and JCarver's videos. They are really good. Jason Somervilles are a must see. Also, now anette "Annette_15" obrestad have started making new videos again.

So for SNG's an MTT I think the site is great. For cashgame, I don't think it's a secret that there are better sites out there.

For mixed games I would check out DC. Joe Tall has an excellent series thats called "From a donk to a stud" or something like that cant remember exactly since its been a while since I have been on DC. If you want to learn mixed games then Joe is the man.
