Hello, everyone. I'm a live NLHE player currently playing on a professional basis at the 1/2 and 2/5 limits. I'm based out of Maryland, but grind AC regularly and also play at Hollywood at Charlestown part-time. I know Maryland Live will soon have poker as well, making my commute much more friendly. I'm looking for some coaching advise and am planning to move up to 5/10 in the near future.

I am currently a winning player, so I'm primarily looking to improve my cash game and also strengthen my tournament play. If there are any good coaches located in the Central Maryland (Gaithersburg/Rockville) area, I would be interested in talking about mentoring. Please PM me if you can help. Searching for mid to high stakes Omaha Head UP coach.

Its my first post on this forum so i will introduce myself.

I'm playing poker for about 3 year, during this time played a lot of different games and was a winning player in all of them (sng nl HU, double or nothing, 180 man sng, 6 man hyper turbo, rush mtt, mtt, nl HU)

about 1.5 year ago i started playing HU omaha and decided that would be my main game and i want to stick with it. Here is my all time HU graph

I'm naturally very smart person, and I'm a fast learner, so i was able to learn to beat all the games i play by myself quite fast. And I'm quite good at Omaha playing pl200-pl600 right now, playing both regs and fish.

But i want to bring my games to the next level, so i need a highly qualified coach, that can eliminate leaks from my game, make it more balanced, and teach how to exploit different opponent tendencies better.

I'm playing ~5 hours a day, ~5 days a week 6 max PLO 50-200 and can't seem to win much.
I am a break even player, but I just can't really take the next step.

According to Leakbuster, I'm straight A's, so I don't know what more to improve.

I would like to have someone go through my HH, analyze it and help me improve my play.

What would someone charge for such?

Next year potentially, I would like to play in a couple PLO8 WSOP events in June 2014 ($1500 and $3000), along with several smaller tournaments in Vegas. This will be happening only if the funds are available, but I would also like to plan ahead in terms of maybe setting up 1-2 coaching sessions (depending on how they go). The time frame for these sessions won't be for a while, as I will be checking to see what types of live games are available in my area for practice/training as online right now there aren't any MTTs (US player).

Brief information about me: Online, I have played a good sample size of cash games on BCP all the way up to 3/6...just a bit at 5/10. I was able to hang fairly well with the regs imo for being so raw and having never researched or read anything on the game. I have no fear playing at a high level with these players. I started playing more serious about a year ago. I had some good success there in the last year, and feel fairly confident in my game where it is at now but of course want to go over some things and improve on my game. I unfortunately have 0 live experience in this game, and very minimal online tourney experience having only played in 7 tournaments (lol sample size) cashing for 2nd in a couple of them. I have played some holdem live, just not O8.

The coach I am looking for must have email, skype, potentially teamviewer for a sweat, must speak english well, potentially have some reading material available for my review, reasonable rate, and provide me with multiple references. There is no hurry for this as it probably won't be down the road until I actually look at getting the coaching...but there is no reason I can't plan ahead. Please PM me with the appropriate information I requested, as well as your rates/availability, questions etc. I am very easy to get along with and am a student of the game with an open mind mentality, ready to learn.

Just as a reference for my end, I have been backed twice by Colin, theprezence on 2+2 who can vouch for my integrity with money as well as my effort to do my best while being backed...you can rest assured if we do a session or two, I will not be wasting your time and hopefully vice versa. I am also a regular buying in the MP having spent thousands in the last year. I have also done trades, totaling thousands in the past 2 years with 0 problems. Thanks for looking and let me know.

right now i am professional poker player and i have my own roll but i have been doing bad recently and because i need to cash out to pay my bills im scared that i might need to change game or move down ( w/e **** happen )

im curious to know if i could get a deal where someone could teach me a game or back me up if i do lose to much of my own bank roll versus % of my profit

i am pretty open to learn any kind of poker if u feel that some game are easier than the other .

i usually play Heads up ( bum hunting ) and i started recently playing 6 max games .

i dont know if someone could be interesed in a deal with me .

what i am looking for would be :

- coaching me if u feel u can help me

- if i do loose and i cant play the game we agree to ( would like some back up money for the roll )

Coaching for profit is very common and is favored by some coaches over the standard $/hr deal.
But you will generally paying move per hour of coaching with this form of deal. The uncertainty of income will cause the coach to charge a slightly higher cut than what he'd see as a cut that would equal his $/hr rate.

But if your bankroll is short and you're at risk of going broke seeking a staking deal with coaching is probably a better option for you.

Hi I've been playing poker for 13 years I am current in the poker world. I know what to play and when to play it. My only flaw is reading players. At one point I was spot on. Hi, looking for 25NL/50NL 6 max rush/zoom/ or 8-12 table cash coaching. Have played on and off for a few years, made a bit of cash but now want to take things seriously as I've just graduated Uni with a mathematics degree so I'm free! Currently trying to log 200k hands on PTR4 on 25nl rush so that it can be analysed. Currently at 40k hands winning at ~ 3bb/100.

I have read a hell of a lot about poker and throughout Uni have played quite of lot of cash, I have played maybe 40k hands of 100NL but I want to start down at 25NL and work up. The idea is to get better at poker, not to make short term money. I'd prefer to coach with sweat sessions and hand reviews.
