I have to confess that I'm a bit skeptical about "traditional" coaching, and would appreciate it if coaches made the effort when contacting me to explain why their programs are different from traditional coaching. The thing that makes me most skeptical about traditional coaching is that, while it strikes me that it could work well for players with big and glaringly obvious leaks, it's much more difficult to find more subtle leaks in break-even players such as myself, where we don't make many mistakes and the mistakes we make aren't of as great a magnitude. Traditional "sweat" sessions or video reviews strike me as unhelpful since it's unlikely that you'll find leaks in the span of only one hour that make that big a difference in one's winrate.

Another thing that makes me skeptical about the overall experience is that there's no check for quality control; the coach gets paid either way, regardless of whether I start booking a positive win rate. Because of this, I'm also open to a "profit sharing" agreement where the coach is incentivized to help me improve, and the coach's income is generated as my income is generated. Even if I end up paying more than the coach's normal hourly rate, I'd say that it's well worth it since the coach will have an obvious stake in helping me improve and, therefore, will put in the extra effort to do so.

If any coaches are open to "profit sharing," I think that I would be a great candidate for a couple reasons: 1. I previously played STTs professionally and was entirely self-taught in them, working to the point where I was making $7K/month in that format (playing as high as the $236s); I have a mind that's made for poker, and would love it if my cash game improved to the level of my STT game (and beyond), and 2. the reason I stopped playing professionally is because Stanford University offered me a position on faculty; when I no longer needed poker money to pay the bills, I viewed it as something of a "freeroll," a time where I could learn cash games, a potentially more profitable form of poker. From my current position at Stanford, you can probably infer that I'm an intelligent and hard working guy who is very capable of learning from you! (By the way, if you want to verify my position at Stanford, I'll happily give you my full name and send you an e-mail from my @stanford.edu account; you can then look me up at stanfordwho.stanford.edu).

Regardless of whether you want a "profit sharing" agreement or a more traditional hourly rate (or some combination of both), go ahead and PM me and we'll talk! Please include your screen names and sites you play at.
6 max or full ring?

Looking for a coach for large field MTTs (up to $30 FO) and 45/90/180 man S&G tournaments ($2/$7/$12 for the S&G). I use HEM - definately am not getting maximum value out of it though (only look at VPIP / PFR and M, not looking much deeper than that).

I am a winning player due to a few lucky binks, and I am able to go deep in tourneys, but I have many leaks in my game (know ABC poker, but looking to move beyond that for hand reading, how to navigate on wet boards, etc). I play fairly agressive late in tournaments, but

Have never had coaching before, but looking to put in some serious time in improving my game. PM please.

I am looking for some suggestions on getting a coach for the NL 6 Max games on Full Tilt. I am currently playing 1/2 w/ a winrate of roughly 2.00 BB/100. I am looking to open up my game & become a more consistent winner. Any tips or suggestions would be great appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Looking for a coach or mentor who is willing to work with a part-time player/part time rates.

I'm a 6-max player, mostly SH and CAP. I've played about 250K hands, about 50K in the last month. Long time player, but really only got serious about improving 8 months ago.
As I learned more, my game got worse. Go figure. I've got a good base of knowledge, but I'm not beating Micros.

Looking for someone who can help me find leaks and improve. I can't justify a huge rate, as I don't have time to do it as a career. I have a good job, and just want to improve my game at beat Micros. I play for enjoyment, but I don't enjoy routinely losing to people who appear to just be playing willy-nilly.

PM me if you feel like you can help. I have a lot of hands in Poker Tracker, and can try to record sessions, etc. I'm not really sure the best way to approach it.

As for price, perhaps we can work out something that makes sense. Maybe someone new to coaching, etc? I think it would be a good challenge for someone, and I would be happy to work out a fair price.

PM if interested. Thanks.

I am regularly playing an 8/16 lhe game and at best I'm a break even player. There are periods of a few months that I will be winning then I will lose for a few. I really want to be profficiant in all games not just lhe. Looking for someone that can work with me in other games and get me profitable in the ones I am currently playing. My ultimate goal is to be a good enough all around player to go full time and play for my living. I live in tacoma wa so if you are local to this area it would be best, but I am willing to jump on a plane for the right coach. live games are where I spend most of my time currenty. Let me know what you can do for me. Eric.global247@gmail.com

Hi, I'm Husnglearner, my main game is HUSNG but I'm looking to switch to HU cash because, in a few weeks, I will playing on very very very soft siteS with people new to cash games and I want to exploit the waves of fishes come along.
Considering the stake I'm playing now, and what I will play (higher), I'm looking for a coacher/staker for 2/4+ (obv a solid winner)
Due to the 2p2 rules I have to not include the staking deal, btw if you are interested we can discuss in private
I’m looking because I'm going to play a "different" game from my main one, you know, HUSNG is not HU cash…
I want to start from hunl 2/4 at least, because I can't play nl200, I will lose so much value considering that I will play 200eur+ HUSNG. So I thought about regular ghosting sessions (and I will play only in them at least in the beginning, so the coacher/staker will not lose money for absurd plays), and becaming a sort of protégé ... The deal obv will be defined private and It will not be a problem, what I’m looking for now is someone really interested in making a lot of money
I know, it looks a bit strange request, but believe me, It will be VERY profitable, at least in the first months, due the very low level of the opponents
If some is interested in any detail please PM me, and I will provide the data you want (and obv my stats/graphs)

Looking for a coach at NL100 6-max. Was a slight winner at NL50 6-max. Then I started playing NL50 6-max Rush, which boosted my roll a considerable amount where I found tons of action. Moved up to NL100 6-max Rush which seemed to be full of reg-TAGs. So I went back to playing regular tables at NL100 where I seem to be a slight losing player.

Hi. I am looking for an MTT coach prepared to have a relaxed 'coaching for a %' deal.

I work full time so cannot put in a ton of volume, but I have had some good results (will provide details). I have an idea of how this will work, but will discuss via PM. Briefly, am looking for a successful MTT-er to look over a HH or two every 2-4 weeks for a %. Pretty simple and unstressful, really.
Thanks
