Looking for the consensus of opinion on using other people's paid content during private coaching or webinars. It seems that a lot of knowledge will have been helped by others' input at some point, but there may be a line that when crossed becomes plagiarising.

A few examples:

Sharing a concept from another course, such as Bounty Power.

Sharing, from memory, more specific details from another course, such as specific population data in a certain spot

Sharing screens/ screenshots explicitly viewing course material, ranges, etc from someone else's course.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

The third option is a clear violation of copyright and the creative rights of the author. It surely does happen however. The others are unavoidable parts of poker community discussion, and they aren't examples of what's stated in the opening sentence from OP, imo.

It's not a question of plagiarising, since that is representing others' work as your own. It's violation of copyright.

When coaching I share whatever I learned that I think will help the student. And most of what I know about poker I learned from someone else

I don't worry too much about remembering exactly where I learned something. In most cases, I learned the same thing from multiple sources and then put in the solver/database work to confirm.

ie 3B and small CB IP with entire range on certain flops was something I first heard from Raptor back in the day on Cardrunners(pre-solvers) so I started doing it and confirmed that it was working well by reviewing my database. It was years later that I started to hear some RIO coaches talk about it and exploring in PIO.
