I want to start/be in a study group - Page 84 - Study Groups -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

We have a small but growing study group of improving/intermediate players. The group focuses on micro/low stakes 9 man turbo sngs, some members also play 6-man, MTTs and DONs.

Our current members have a solid understanding of ABC poker, and we look for a similar level of understanding from prospective members. Most players are 'recreational', playing part-time at present.

Not sure if I'm quite ready to join a group but would really like to have a group of poker playing friends to learn from.

So 27 from the states (ME). Havent been playing very long, only about a year seriously. Mostly play a weekly live MTT ($60), micro and a few small MTTs on ACR, and occasionally live $1/ $2.

Looking to join or start a group of 2-5 people. Focus would be on cash games. Preferably already a winning 10nl player seriously looking to move up to mid-stakes. Group would ideally meet a couple times a week through Skype or Discord or whatever. Never been a part of a study group, but presumably studying would consist of sharing hands/databases, sweat sessions, and whatever other effective study techniques people have come across. Hi all.

I’d like to start an MTT study group on Skype. Probably between 4 and 6 people discussing hands and strategy as well as hand history reviews, once or twice a week, maybe more if it suits.

I currently play full time, $3-27 buyin level, so the group would ideally include full time grinders or people who are very motivated to improve their game and do their own personal study away from the group.
