I'm looking for a buddy to train/go over hands analisys/discussion/improve-my-game with. Sort of coach-to-each-other thing.
So I want to team up with someone dedicated, more of a no life and freak about the poker you are, the better. No brainless grinder. Someone open minded and aspiring to break the ranks in the game, someone who just doesn't copycats what he heard/read about poker, but tries to give it his own thought. We'll do this via chat/voice/sharing sessions.. live or hands review. Doesn't matter if you're beginner, I'd rate myself as a beginner too... euro or us doesn't matter either... I'll try adjust my time schedule.

I'll be honest with you right from the start, instead of crushing the stakes, the stakes are crushing me... But that's why I'm writing this reply. I long to get better everyday...

A poker study group/poker chat that has been running for almost 2 years. We have vets and new players alike, at all ages, and all stakes and games. Our main focus is on poker, of course, where we take the time on occasion to do sweats, HH reviews, and even the occasional silly prop bet on some meaningless thing. No one is going to go out of there way to help you unless you go out of your way to set something up. In addition, we tend to keep the atmosphere friendly as a conversational chat. Once and awhile we do go off topic with some silly conversation, but we tend to keep each other company while we start the long grind process each day. The group is active, although we do have the occasional inactive times due to all of us being on at separate times. However, if you're a serious poker player and enjoy just meeting people who have a similar mindset as you then feel free to contact me on skype and I will add you to the group.

Regardless if you enjoy helping out new players, want some company while grinding, to discussing strategy with seasoned players, then feel free to stop by.

Seems there is a need and demand for study groups, but there is a big range of the stakes and range of games people are playing.

I would like to start/join a group myself, but I am not sure trawling through this whole thread is going to be my best way forward.

hey, i currently play mostly $5-26 mtts on FTP, i have %40 roi on sharkscope after 2400 games, abi $4 because i never deposited and have grinded up from micro sngs. I put in a lot of volume each month and enjoy being sweated and discussing hands using team viewer. My preferred method of study is going over big hands in a session using HEM and discussing different lines.

Hi I am 200NL 6max grinder (few unsuccessful shots at 400NL)...I was a winning player for the last 2 yrs grinding full time but as of late ive been barely able to beat it for a decent win rate. I am interested in joining a study goup. Im not a big poster on 2+2 but been lurking around the forum for years.

Too bad you say 25nl and up, I barely touch 25nl these days...

but i'm a regular, consider myself devoted to learning over worrying about winning/losing, have read quite a library of various poker books, and have used a training site for most of their vids...

100nl full ring reg on FTP at the moment. Honestly I don't put a huge amount of time into studying off the tables as I feel like playing is the best way to learn but would like to do some sweats/reviews with some people that are interested in improving etc. my aim is luvinurladyz, hit me up there or pm me on here.
