Hi guys. I am part of a Swedish Skype group that has been running weekly 2h poker discussion calls for almost ten years now. We just lost one of our guys (he left poker for a job) and are now looking for 1-2 new "members". The group now consists of four swedish guys with ages between 28 and 40. We play NLH 6M with stakes ranging from 200 to 2k. Our weekly call is at 2pm - 4pm CET on Wednesdays atm and will probably stay there in the foreseeable future. We are currently working on mapping GTO stats and comparing those with stats for the environments we are playing in as well as with specific players (looking for exploits). We work with Piosolver, H2N and Notecaddy for this purpose. I was playing 50nl on WPN in like 2011..I’m back on WPN and currently playing 10nl while I study (just got Upswing membership)..I’ll probably deposit to bump it up to a BR for 25nl if I don’t have some run good (I don’t wanna grind low stakes for that long, I also get RB.)

I am 29 years old, from Austria and currently play NL100-NL400 also play some Live Poker and planning to do this a bit more in the future. I want to start a new study group for SH NL players who are already winning at NL100+ and want to move up in stakes or trying to increase their win rate.
I have never been a member of a really active Skype group so i am trying to create one.

Whats my idea:
Create a team of 3-6 people who really want to work on their game to beat today's games and motivate each other to grind and study harder and reach their goals.
What I m planning to do is a mix of PIO work, session reviews, live sessions, HH reviews, working on ranges but also things like creating more effective HUD's and find soft fields to play.

Hey all. See a lot of people looking for groups with little to no success. Im new here and Id like to learn a little more about the community and its members. Id like 2018 to be as big a year as I can make it in poker, and success first begins with preparation so looking to do some leg work and maybe make some long lasting friendships along the way. I play on 888 as Poker_br4t, Bluelogan and on / off on Stars "hope&horror" I just dinged 30 Im feeling extremely motivated and would love to surround myself with some people who will help me find the next level in my game. Ive read books, am well versed in most aspects of the game but like most low-mid stake grinders I find myself not making the sort of return Id like to make, over the long term. Not looking to have my time wasted, or waste anyone elses. Love the idea of being part of a team or stable where the right surrounding could really benefit me, and my future cohorts. Hi, I consider myself a good poker player NL100+ and study the game very seriously, but I often go in crazy tilt and think it would be good for me to be part of a group mostly to be accountable. I don't really have friends who play the game. I don't really feel a need to share hand histories tough I don't mind. But mostly not feeling too alone in my grinding would help me.

I would like to facilitate a smallish group that scripts most of the HU spots in ring nlhe in GTO+, then explore the EV of simplified strats. Whoever joins will be assigned a spot to script, if you join you obviously get access to all the solutions along w/ everyone else. I don't have the best computer, but I am able to script and have a pc dedicated to basically just that. Ideally someone w/ a nice computer could do the more memory intensive spots (BTN v. BB & SB v. BB, etc).

Evening gents. I'm a newer player (2 years) out of Sacramento looking for some folks to talk hands and play with. I'm up in online MTT's but to be honest I've been breaking even lately online. I do well in live 1/2 and low fixed limit games, but I get crushed in online games bigger than 25NL.

I study quite a bit. I'm a fast learner, and have a passion for the game that keeps me going when it gets tough. I know I've got a lot of blind spots, and I'm at a point where I need a group to talk hands with. Would love to find some folks a bit ahead of me. Looking for a solid player to discuss 6max NL hands with, NOT per say a coach, more like a mentor/training partner.

I had one back in the day, we maybe traded like 10 hands a day after a 1-2K hands session, just all sort of interesting spots, a way to keep us both sharp. Sometimes if we disagreed strongly enough we would post here or talk to other players.

About me, stats from 8 years ago.

Beat all games from 2/4 400 NL to 15/30 3000 NL (Table selection, yay...)
Won $100K at 2/4 with a ptbb of 7-8. (A very good sample, obv was lower for my total sample at 2/4)

HU:
Won a bunch, don't really remember the stats

Why did I quit back then?
Well I won 5K one day, 6K the next, the day after I lost 5K. Loosing the 5 felt soooo much worse than the 2 days of winning that I was just kind of over it, also I felt like going to culinary school, later switched to university, was a better life decision at the time.

So what now:
I play ½/1 (100 NL) to get back into things, so I'm looking for either an insanely solid 100 NL player to trade HHs with or someone in the 200 to 1000 NL range who is willing to discuss stuff. My old discussion partner also quit poker to go to university.

But why soooo low?
Well, I bought a house, also I spent money while studying, also I need to get a feel for the game again.

Admittedly, I'm not a great player. Only slightly winning over ~100k hands at 25nl, but I'm working hard to change that.

So what kind of stakes would be involved. I would be worried the coaches would just separate me from my chips pretty quick as part of the lesson.
