Hi Guys I have posted on here 1 other time in my life. I recently lost my full time job and have been studying poker for about 1 year. I really started to go hard the beginning of this year making vlogs on youtube and study daily for a few hours. I have not been back to the casino since the day before it closed in NJ in march. I know there is no set open date as of now but with all my free time and passion for learning poker, was wondering, anyone know how to join a study group? Online or in person? I studied red chip poker core and now studying Jonathan little. I really enjoy live tourneys a lot and have been playing the online ones here and there but i really miss the interaction with people, reading people (attempting too atleast) and exploitative play, but seems much harder online. Plus i do not know how u use a HUD so just feeling lost and dont want to spend the money on something when I have no idea how to use. The vid on youtube dont really help me with this. I play home games weekly with my friends but they are just there to have fun not learn the game. As fun as that is, I really would love to take this to the next level where someone can tell me if that was the right play or not. If my passion can stay as strong as it has poker may be something I attempt to do full time which is what has been missing in all my fulltime jobs since starting working. Lacking the guidance and friendships I feel are needed to get the next level, I ask all you, what should I do? Training sites dont offer a back a forth needed to excel in this. I feel like I am hitting a wall. Is there a group to join? Any help is appreciated, thanks!
