MTT or CASH? What is more profitable in 2019? MTT or CASH? What is more profitable in 2019?

Hello guys, I would like to start a discussion and I need somebody who could advise me. I am planning to go full pro in one-two months. 2018 was pretty good for me, I was playing almost all formats, all of them for few months (spins, cash, mtt, sng). On all of them I was profitable. Cash up to nl25, MTT up to NL22, spins up to NL15. One thing I know for sure is that I dont want to come back to spins, its not for my mindset. In around 9 months I have made around 9000$ profit, playing part time.

But I have pretty general question to more experienced (and by more experienced I mean at least mid-high stakes regulars, it would be nice if you would have experience in both formats).

What is the best format to master now? I feel like I can play everything, but I would like to know where is the best opportunity to make money?

MTT feels extremely easy for me, there is alot of fishes even on stars, but the variance is huge, also I would have to skill ICM more. In over 100k hands I have made over 12bb/100 ev. Av. BI- 10$, but was more like 15 (started to play low sng, because I didnt want to risk swings at moment).

Cash is a little bit boring, MTT gives me more pleasure, but I know that the market right now is based on all those private fishy rooms, meaby I should start thinking about this?

The next thing is my improving opportunity, I have been staked on spins and on cash for a moment. Staking is cool, but I dont like very long term deals. How to master cash games? Buying coaching sessions? Getting into coaching for profit deal? What do you, experienced poker players find as the best way to make much money? What about MTT? Should I grind and buy Raise Your Edge metarials and that should be good enough?

Sorry for the chaos in the post, there is a lot of questions, but general thing is- What would you do now, if you would have some experience and lets say, 1000$ in bankroll?

I am so motivated to play and learn like never before, all I need is finding the good path. Meaby there is somebody who is offering any nice staking/coaching deals and could offer it to me? I would check any offer, can give my results on PM.

GL on the tables @ 2019 guys!

i would avoid coach-stake deals unless you find someone who: is an amazing player, trustworthy, personally likes YOU, and is willing to invest in your future for the right reasons. IMO its better to build a relationship with a great player, and start a business arrangement off of this foundation

honestly sometimes i think that these days your better off coaching yourself until you get to super good, all the info and software is available right at your fingertips. Get PIO, use training sites, form relationships with better players, talk poker, etc

if I were you i would play both cash and tournaments. Mtts are definately softer in 2019, but there are still niche pockets in the ecosystem of very very soft cash games (untracked, chinese-app, some live, etc)

IDK if you are playing only NL, but other variants like PLO and mixed games are really fun if you give them a chance. online NL cash is incredibly cutthroat and competitive these days, other variants present more opportunity

cash is great because it forces you to improve, you get the opportunity to overcome variance and realize edges faster, and you also get to enjoy more consistent profit

Basically you said all pluses and minuses about everything that I also had in my mind, because of my own experience (with staking, formats etc). I was thinking about live games, but I dont know...Now I am in UK and I could theoretically go to London to grind cash, anyway its such a out of comfort zone option that I am not sure if I could do it (renting room, risking variance on much higher stakes than I play online- minimum 100 pounds BI), anyway I feel a little bit disappointed that I didn't try to do that. My plan was to comeback to my country (Poland) in max 2 months and grind online very hard, thats why I am asking for all those thing, I will have alot of time, but need a good path. Didnt think about mixing cash and MTT's, because I thought it's always better to master one format. PLO is not for me.

that makes sense. i think thats a great mindset, master something instead of being good at a few things. several of the greatest HS players have said in interviews that being a specialist is the most profitable. (FWIW you probably know most of the things im saying already).
