Alright guys wanna keep this really simple been playing poker as a hobby most my adult life I'm 38 btw

I have had some decent results http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=r&n=306768

I would say my approach to poker has been a losing one where i just take punts when i fancy it and I have no problem admitting I am a losing player.

Im really fed up of the MTT grind and want to get into cash going to start at 5NL with a $250 BR so 50 buy ins at that level.

Is there any point getting a coach at these stakes as im assuming there all gunna be super expensive

Hey mate I would say for now just see how you get on, play some, post hands here, maybe start a thread/blog in poker goals and challenges, join a study group, invest in software like poker tracked/Holden manager, flopzilla etc

I think you'd benefit more from those things than a coach right now, then maybe look at a training site, solvers and a coach further down the line when the ROI is better as you'll likely be playing at bigger stakea

I think a coach can save you a lot of time. Depends on how much you value your time imo.

Thank you for both replies I can see there is value in both I guess it depends on rates and such as obv it would be a investment but again playing at the micro of micro stakes it may not be the best use of my funds.

I do intend to keep a Blog and thread that's for sure.

Are there actually any good micro-micro stakes coaches ? I'm considering getting help with game. I am proving myself to not be able to beat even ZOOM NL2 while working on my game on my own.

At which rates would I be looking at ?

If you are struggling with NL2 i dont think you should spend money on a coach. I would try joining a training site and focus on learning the fundamentals. Like maybe upswing poker lab?
