I've been playing and studying my game a lot by myself and have recently transitioned from a break-even to slightly profitable. I think it would be beneficial to see if I can find some other aspiring players that are also going through their poker journey!

A bit of background on me: I'm 24 years old and I currently spend most of my time playing online $50 SNGs. I play live $2/$5 cash games weekly at the local casino near me. I primarily use PokerTracker for analyzing my online SNG play and it's really helped me with pre-flop and flop play. I have a computer science degree and have done a bit of data analysis, which has made using PokerTracker significantly easier.

The goal I have is to make a living from poker. The two main sub-goals I'm working towards at the moment:

1. Consistency in SNG play - I'm profitable over a smallish-medium sample size, but I know it's not big enough. I need to prove I can sit at the same stakes for a long period of time and be profitable over a larger sample size

2. Live Cash Games - I usually tend to play well live. I've played a good chunk of $2/$5 cash games online, and the 2/5 games at live casinos are significantly easier. I've been starting to play these cash games regularly now and believe I should be profitable immediately. Ideally I can take shots at 5/10 after i stick around at 2/5 for a while

Hi, 18 y/o looking to make a living from poker, have been studying and grinding for couple months.

Have played ~27k hands at 10nl / 25nl, mostly 10nl, up around 15BIs. Have been coached by 200nl player, looking for more peers to talk about hands with and learn about other formats sngs mtts etc

Have played a fair number of mtts on side and reached final tables of some mtts, never seem to close it out in the big ones though, but it is high variance. Couple top 3s in smaller buyin mtts

I got back into poker after 2 years off to play in the WSOP 2019 (didn't cash). That got me hooked so now I am planning my triumphant return in 2020, and plan on playing many of the side events into the main event.

So far I have only 7k hands at NL5, up 25 buyins. Ready to move up to NL10, and $3 tournaments. Plan to play live $1/$2 by sept and grind out my platinum status (thanks to the WSOP tier points I only need 80 hours).

Hope to move to NL25 and $10 tournaments by the end of the year, and playing NL500 live and maybe even splash a little of NL1000 by next july.
