I only play low limit NL Holdem in Vegas and a winning player. I am pretty decent at many things, including playing the player.

I have this problem, where I don’t see double gut shots easily. Even if I am holding the double gut shot or my opponent. At times, I’m concerned I might be missing some straight possibilities too (some weird ones).

Any books, website or and training tools that’ll help me spot these?

Even better any rules, I can follow to spot them easier? Like a paired board may have a boat, 3 suits for a flush etc?

Thank you so much...

P.S: For instance, I did not see the double gut shot even on this board. I saw the higher str8 easily. Even after I was told there was a double gut shot, it took me almost 15 seconds to see it - very frustrating.

spotting a double gutter is really just a matter of spotting gutshots, twice so take your time and scan the board, consider what outs you have. It's simply a matter of practice. You are probably rushing or assuming you've seen everything there is to see and no longer really "looking". Contact me if you're actually seeking a coach, by PM. Cheers

I think you are right...once I spot the first straight I’m probabaly no longer looking. I am going to train with random hard generators and see...luckily my wife who also plays can spot these easily. So she can watch me...

Thanks
