I was wondering during LIVE play who has implemented the frequency modality of play, adheres to the 70/30 mantra strictly and what the thought process is on the results?

I am just now getting to Ed Millers 1% book and while I play a similar style by nature, 70/30 seems high no matter what the initial hand selection.

Any experience? Insight?

Its the basic rule that is a rough estimate. It depends on board texture etc. I would just look as the solution of a solver and node lock to get the best exploitative strat. For example EP vs BB a board like 567 2 flush as the PFR you should checkback range here even AA etc. So the frequency that you check here is near 100%. Reason being that you dont want to play a big pot where if you get a lot of action are mostly behind an drawing very thin. Its better then to play you MDF.
Your strat should follow this 70/30 most of the time, but not always.

GTO+ is much cheaper for very similar functionality compared to basic PIO
