Forcing it or blowing up advice or material? Forcing it or blowing up advice or material?

I make deep runs consistently but from time to time in bigger tournaments I tend to force or overplay a hand that cost me from final tabling to getting first place. I tried to tighten up more which helps but puts me more in just ICM cashing mode rather than being properly aggressive to win. Where can I go to find some material or advice to properly discipline myself better so I can stop having these blowups? Thanks

Winning or final tabling tournaments does require bluffing and aggression in addition rather than just playing tight and staying disciplined (i.e. the ICM cashing mode you describe). Whenever you consider making a move, think about what you are representing and if your line is making sense (would you play a value hand that way?). Typically final few tables have more strong players than your starting table, so some of the moves that could work against weak players will not work against decent ones if your line is not making sense (or you get out of line too often).
