Ok so I just got back into playing poker, feeling a bit rusty.
This is a hand I played on stars at 25/50 h/u.

I was about 120bb deep effective (60$) and got dealt Qh Qd.
Opponent opens 3x and i 3-bet to 4.5$. He calls.

Flop is Jc Kc 7s. I bet 3$ and he calls.
Turn is 4d. I check and opponent pot-bets.
Now the way I thought about this hand was either I fold on the turn or I'm willing to go all in if river bricks. I ended up calling turn, and river was 2d.

On river I checked, and he pushed, and I called.

Let me know what you guys think

the reason i thought it makes sense to call on the turn is because there's not that many hands he bets 15$ in a 15$ pot.

i mean, granted it was the 2nd hand i played with the guy (zoom) but i think he would often 4bet AA, AK (all combos) KK and some of the time JJ pre.

so on the flop the only hands i think he can bet for value are AQ (which I block), KJ (all combos) and 77

also, there's a bunch of hands like QTcc, Axcc, or other random flush draws he decides to take a stab with. not sure if that makes sense though cause in hindsight he might commit himself on the turn (river was 1 pot-sized bet left behind)

I think the check on the river shows weakness, it loudly proclaims," Hey I dont haventop pair, so gomahead and bet"..I must find out if he is coming at me with a made my hand, 7,7...KQ, etc, ormis he on a draw of some sort..Checking wont work, all that does is allow him to continue throwing chips in the pot, and you are clueless to why?..I think that a bet of say 1/3 of pot would force him to show his true colors, and after he does you will know to lay it down or hang out for river and drag the pot.
