Hiya,

Pretty much as the title says, what do you consider the best/easiest to use/value for money?

I say this as somebody with no experience using them but really want to start,

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Best solver which you can get respective price and value is by far GTO+.

Costs 75 USD and has even more funtions than Piosolver Pro wich costs around 450 USD. Only disadvantage is that Piosolver has a nicer GUI and is more used in training videos like RIO, Upswing, etc since it has been one of the first solvers out there.

Thats great! Thanks for that.

I did see that upswing has a "simple solver" feature, have you heard of it?

Also, would you consider GTO+ relatively straight forward to pick up? i know its all relative but in general.

Cheers

Yes, Simple Posflop is the solver that you mean. Would not defo recommend it. It is expensive, has a way worse GUI than GTO+/Pio and is less way used in the community.

I think it is relatively straight forward to pick up things in GTO+. On 2p2 the author has a thread where you can ask questions. He is very active in this thread which is great. Also a lot of stuff now available on youtube.

so dont mean to be stupid here but will all solvers give out the same results or not? assuming same spot?

eg if I am heads up at say 25 bigs pre flop raise limp or fold ranges will be the exact same for all solvers or not?

or 6 max 100 blinds deep post flop on flop all solvers give the same results or not?

I will be getting a solver soon but I dont want to start training on a solver that would give out less efficient results then another solver if thats even a thing I really dont know.

You are right that if you give the same inputs solvers will produce the same results. But there are lots of pro/cons to other aspects of each solver - they all have slightly different features/designs.

personally unless you have a PC with enough memory to do preflop solves id go with GTO+
