Any recommendations for live training videos?
I get really bored when listening to podcast or people just talking without any visuals.

I love some of the videos on crushlivepoker, but the site seems really expensive and seems to be lacking quality content imo, especially for the price.
What I like most are the videos where they review live hands with actual live video footage!

I'm still considering CLP, since they do have a lot of good video material (I think?) but would love to hear some opinions on it!

I am getting back into poker and I used to love balugawhales training videos. It seems that deucescracked no longer exists. Are there videos gone forever? I'm specifically looking for the coaching kristy series.

HEy,

Ive been using RYE for some time now. Amazing content and really smart approach to everything. I have taken in all the videos and practiced what he preaches with much success.

I seem to struggle with the actually act of studying the range viewer and remembering specifics like what to 3 bet fold and 3 bet call etc. Trying to fine tune everything.

Wondering if anyone has suggestion to studying and remembering those real specifics at the table. flash cards? talking out loud? writing it down(which i do).

Let me know. sorry if i post in the wrong thread.

thank you!

'ey folks, first time posting. Was watching a Brad Owens or Andrew Neeme youtube vid and they did a A-B-C decision before the actual action. Mentioned there was a video series where you could pick check, fold, raise before they show how the action played out. Anyone know the name of that series?

Has anyone tried pokercoaching.com lead by Jonathan Little? Seems to be a bit of a different approach with hand quizes. It seems vast majority favor RIO over Upswing, think we should get a poll on that.

Came back to poker after a long break and I am enjoying the local 1/3 game Buy in of $100 to $500. I would like to study a bit more having only read a few books in the past.

I am looking at getting either 1-2NL Course from Red Chip Poker or Mastering Live Cash from Raise Your Edge any recommendations between the 2?

Or is there maybe a different course or subscription I should look at the choices are overwhelming.

I´ve found the 400+ and running hand quizzes to be very helpful.

Awesome, my main concern is that it seems mostly tournament centric.

Subscribed to RIO elite membership and can say that I’m very happy with the product so far.

I tried the pokercoaching.com trial but didn’t subscribe. I will probably subscribe once they come out with their cash game master class and their premium offering.

Pokercoaching is beginner friendly and has a ton of nice interactive quizes. There's a lot of content for premium members including the new cash game masterclass.

Upswing lab is also for beginners. but they have really good complex content also.

RIO has mixed games, PLO, NLHE and LHE. Their content is very good and range from beginner (essentials) to complex (elite).

RedChip is good for low stakes live.

The only site I don't have much experience with that's being discussed here is Upswing. I like their articles in my email regularly, though. Anyone have experience with both Upswing and RedChip? Opinions? I like CORE on RCP and they have a full membership for $50usd/mo.

I didn't ask about RIO because I'm well familiar with it.

I went back to RCP for $50/mo. This includes CORE, naturally. Using this material plus power equilab, flopzilla, gto+ etc is all interwoven and sets me on a good path for right now.

Is rcp the guys who alvin lau derided for terrible flatting IP strategy they advocated? Alvin himself seems to be a bit of a muppet but those ranges were deservedly torn apart

/shrug - I don't know anything about that. I do know that RCP is considerably better than it was even a year ago. Between CORE and PRO, there is just a massive amount of relevant, up to date content. I won't say any more at risk of sounding like a shill but RIO has definitely gone downhill in the last year whereas RCP has definitely gone up.
