Pretty have for STT players as they have Darinvg, Azntracker & now Glitlr covering pretty much all buy ins. Anyways just thought I'd share as I just saw his new vid today.

Hiya folks, I've been considering taking some poker coaching to help improve my game and take me to the next level.

I've been offered a years free subscription with TestYourPoker. Can anybody offer any feedback about the site, what it specifies in, etc.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I'm looking for the best 6max small and mid stakes NLHE training site (currently a decent NL50 and NL100 winner, still with many leaks and striving to reach NL200 and 400). At the same time, it should offer some 6max micro and small stakes PLO advice, because I basically suck at PLO but planning to learn it in the near future. After reading the whole thread, it seems that DC would be a pretty good choice for me, true? What about Leggo? And wouldn't Bluefire be the best for PLO? How's the NLHE content there in comparison to DC and Leggo?
Thanks in advance

DC or CR seems the more suitable for what you need.

I know someone who used that site, its pretty meh. If its free you might as well use it, its pretty unique, but a lot of the advice is poor.

Thanks .

I'd like to mention my views on a newer site http://www.pokerwit.com

Pokerwit is not necessarily a training site if you go by the traditional definition of training sites. It's a site which has a unique way of dealing with hand histories, which I believe is really effective in understanding hands. Each hand is played by the community, so a user gets a statistical perspective of how most people would play that hand. The people who have played the hand explain their reasoning for their play on every street, and in the end, people discuss why the lines were optimal or not. I feel this site has made me view hands in a much more structured manner, than normal, and I think a lot of you would notice it too.

They've recently introduced a new PRO Section. In this section a ton of reputed and highly successful online MTT pros discuss hands they've played in most of the HSMTTs as well as other mid stake MTTs, and their quality of explanation is unparalleled. It's unbelievable how much thinking goes through every hand, even though a lot of them play ~ 20 tables or so at the same time. This section is definitely a welcome addition to the website, and for 5$ a month, it's an absolute steal. The pro discussion after every hand is also excellent, since it's a bunch of regs who discuss how they would have played that hand, and for a learning player, one can't ask for more.

People who are really looking to improve their MTT game, should definitely give this a try. Once you check out their free hand section(which is a huge database in itself), I assure you, you'll want to check out the pro section, primarily due to the quality of players and their analysis there.

Is there any reason you would say that? Constructive criticism would obviously help them improve if you have anything to add.

I suppose I'm not adding much in saying this but I do see where he's coming from. The site just looks to me like it has been created by somebody a step away from the poker community and would be more suited to utter beginning players then the core 2p2 demographic.

I'm in no way affiliated to pokerwit. I'm just another user like all of us. The closest I have in terms of affiliation was winning a Sunday Million ticket in a promotion back in January. Barring that, I'm pretty much nothing more than a registered user.

Ya the design is absolutely terrible (colours, layout, navigation). I'm no webdesigner myself but I imagine if I made a website it would probably look like that. If you guys are serious about improving the site would suggest getting that fixed right away. I like that you guys are trying something new but without proper organization its a big mess.

Would also suggest if you are gonna charge as little as 5 bucks just wave the fee entirely and try to set up affiliate deals instead.

Email their site directly to confirm that this is legit or a scam.

I would definitely not reply to the email if it looks fishy at all. People get valuable personal information like this all the time, through fake poker support emails and many other avenues.

I got the same e-mail. It's the second one that I received. It is possible that this is a scam but it probably is legit based on my experience. The problem is the deep stacks site does not like Apple computers. Several times I have tried to look at the sample videos and I get an error code. If you try to send a support issue e-mail it also crashes and gives an error code. Are you using an Apple computer? I was interested in the site but based on my experience I would need a tremendous amount of reassurance that deep stacks would work with an Apple Computer before signing up.

OK so..my big simple question is for someone at the bottom of micro FR NLHE where is the best training site to go to? or am i already using it?

currently i've been using pokersavvy plus and I like it but still wonder if theres a sit out there possibly just overall better or more applicable to 5nl>10nl> moving on up to 25nl+ the full progression of those limits?

if that makes sense? well that is my question.
