I think its kind of shady that these websites charge a good chunk of money and then false advertise their product.

And before I get flamed for signing up for pokervt in the first place and not leggo, or pokersavvy, i signed up cause they were running a deal for 3 months which i will end once the 3 months are done and to specifically watch Jon Turners (pearljammer) videos.
I just saw this and think it is important to clear up. What I was talking about in the interview was that I had a lot of bad habits that kept me from being a winning player. ie. beating the $33 9mans but losing all the profits at 25-50 PLO.

And after making that 1 cash game video, I told PokerVT I would be a lot more comfortable doing SNG videos and they loved that idea. I have had very good SNG results for quite a while and while the SNG videos I made were not world class by any means, they were good for the target audience, beginning online players.

I am trying to cancel my pokersavvy account. I can't find anything on their site about it, do I just email their support and they take care of it?

I'm thinking about signing up with pokersavvy. Anyone know if their videos are downloadable or can you just watch them streaming from their site.

Thanks for the info...I'm really looking forward to watching some of Bond18's videos.

It should be clear on their site. If not, email their support.

They are downloadable in both WMV and MP4 format and they're also DRM free.

I am a member

I think they provide excellent content - probably at a higher level to the other training sites. Esp for NLHE and PLO players

Im a member of bluefire and I think they have the best content out there. For micros I think SoCalQuest Is the shiznit. Galfond's philosphy episodes are dope and every one there is beating the games they play. Best for PLO IMO

Do you know if their videos be downloaded to a video iPod or iPhone? I tend to listen to this stuff while walking my dog rather than in front of my computer. and based on your viewing of the videos would just listening to the audio tracks be valuable or would most of their stuff be best with viewing the screen?

There no DRM so you can convert them

I think only listening to the audio tracks can be valuable for a lot of vids (like the Philosophy ones) but you'll obv be better to view the action for the vast majority of them.

I thin k you could nearly do this for samo's vids too as he goes into so much detail

For MTT players there is a site called Pokerwit.com.

Its not a typical "training site" in that it has videos etc., but it has a unique platform for posting and disgussing hands, in stead of just posting them on a message board.

It also has a "pro section" where you can "play" hands that different pros have played, and see their analysis etc. in the hand.

I think the platform for posting/playing hands has a lot of advantages to just posting them on message boards. Mainly that the way it is set up stimulates more to discussion than message boards do. Also, that its a good way to share strategy, by posting your analysis for every decision in the hand.

You can also download free WMV -> M4V converters and convert single table videos to iPod / iPhone formats - and the quality is normally good enough to read cards / stack sizes.

More than 1 table it's a stretch
