FWIW I'm pretty sure you'll like it. Especially stuff like Philosophy since you don't seems to like live vids a lot.

I think you can see a couple of minutes of 4-5 BFP vids on youtube just write Blue Fire Poker or something.. You'll make an opinion by yourself.

I never searched You Tube for Bluefire! Thanks for the idea.

I like video's but hours of watching a guy 4 table where I can't really keep up with the action and the nugget to noise ratio is high is not my thing. I am old. I don't have that much time left to be watching hundreds of hours of video to pick up a few ideas. Bluefire promotes quality over a ton of video's maybe this is the spot for me to try.

Even when they do 4 tabling videos, they are pausing pretty often to explain/go further etc.. Seriously from what you said I think that you'll like it.

Hi,
First of all, I am sorry If I started this thread in wrong forum, however I belive this is a right place for my question.

In my opinion posting problematic hands, is a great tool to improve my game.
Unfortunately 2 hands per day is not enough for me;-)
I am ready to pay a monthly membership to get acces to a forum in which I could post my hands, and to every of them get response from a staff/pros/or someone reliable.

I am not interested in video content etc, of course it would be nice to have them, but hands are prior.

Can you recommend me a coaching site which fits my needs?

Once I was a member of DC, but I am not sure who can I trust about feedback , and what is more pros are taking voice rarely so I am looking for something different and don't know where to look;-)

Thank you for any comments/suggestions/

I would say DC is excellent for that. Then again probably any training site worth it's salt would be, CR, PokerSavvy, Leggo, PXF.

Can the videos really just be this horrible? Just a guy having a poker session ranting incoherently about what he is doing?

I heard this was the BEST SNG site out there? Am i missing something?
Can you say who that instructor was? I am a member there & I would say the vids by Glitlr, Darinvg, & Azntracker are simply among the best out there for SNG's. What you just stated does not fit any of those guys vids so I' curious as to just who the instructor was.

I hope that I will express it well, and won't insult anybody;-)

Yeah I agree that DC is great and videos helped me a lot. And there are active producers/coaches in forum.
However you can post 10 hands and only to 3 of them get answer from someone you can trust.

I meant that if you post a hand in micro forum you got few answers, but you are never sure how answers are close to the best line of particular hand
Many students take voice, and that is great. I comment as well, but I am not always sure about what I have written.

at DC I feel a lack of someone who could in every (or at least almost every) hand, correct thought process of responders, add addiotional questions, suggestions.

DC has very active and growing forums, and their coaches are expected to answer strategy threads on the forums sometimes (about one a day). Not sure about other sites.

I'm a member and while I agree with you, the vids are usually very good. I like Azntracker, tigerbalms, and darvinvg's vids. I haven't looked at everything, but if I had to guess the instructor he was referring to I would say perhaps sizzlinbetta. He's obviously a tremendously good player, however his videos seemed subpar compared to the other instructors (in my opinion). Still good though. $45/3 months is a good deal. The videos not being directly downloadable sucks though because their video interface is like a 6/10.

not directly, meaning there's no "download link" available. They obviously don't want users to download the videos since there's no drm.

The best sites offer drm-free downloadable videos with no hassle. I wouldn't even consider joining a site that didn't offer this.

Actually the DogisHeadsUp series on deucescracked.com is excellent as well. Starts off playing 50NL and moves us to high stakes play. 8 episodes altogether and for $29.99/month, you can't beat it.

If that's how you feel, though I don't agree with the statement, try Leggo out. They have a pretty good forum & all the instructors participate.

leggo has a great micro forum. They have a pro who has a thread where he reviews your stats, and other pros often reply to micro threads as well.
