Re: ** Official Coaching Request Thread ** Use This!

200NL player - 6 max......80k hands and I'm up around 6 buy ins........but my goal is not to break even or even close to it.....I want to destroy this limit by getting a coach who can help me exploit spots using a LAG strategy cause I want to start opening up my game. Im running around 22/19 now and I want to improve by becoming levels ahead of the regs at 200NL.

Must provide graph and screen name and I want a player who is proven on pokerstars or fulltilt cause honestly I don't know how much the competition differs from euro sites to American sites. Preferably a coach who beats 600NL and above for a good win rate

Are you looking for an MTT focussed training site? I have actually been researching the same thing if so...

Best sites for mtts (doesnt neccesarily exclude them from being good for cash)

Poker Pwnage, Poker Savvy, CardRunners

Best books for MTTS: Harrington on HE series, and Kill Everyone

Re: ** Official Coaching Request Thread ** Use This!

Hello, I have went through 2p2 for coaching before and enjoyed my results.

However as I progress my game I hope to start really honing in on EV calculations, ranges and other more detailed aspects of the game. Furthermore, I would like a coach that can take me up to higher stakes (I currently play 100nl) and am looking for a coach that can either A)Recommend me to other coaches or B) one who can progress along with me.

Okay thanks and looking forward to your replies!

Yet another "looking for coach" thread

Basically to keep it somewhat short, I'm an 18 year old, out of school/unemployed and I play a lot of poker. I understand basic strategy and I know how to play the game, but I lack the level of thinking to move myself to the next level.

I'm playing micros right now with a short roll, open to all forms of payment but I'd be most interested in paying with a % of profits over a set amount of time. I don't want to sit through lessons only to play at the same/lower level of play as before.

Get at me on skype, Oscen91, and we can talk there. I play a lot, I watch a lot on TV, I know all the games, but I lack that extra level of thinking to move me over .500.

Re: ** Official Coaching Request Thread ** Use This!

Hey there,

I'm looking for a coach for MTTs. I play mostly $3/$6 90 seater KO SnG's on FT and the ocassional 10/26 deep stack tourney. I want to identify my leaks and work on play around the bubble and onwards; hand ranges, aggression etc. I was a break even player for a long time but over the last couple of months have changed the way i play and i'm having a lot more success. I've got a hell of a lot more to figure out though and really want to build on this.

If you think you can help me i'd love to hear from you.

Re: Yet another "looking for coach" thread

Since you are only 18 I assume you primarily play online. I have used a free online poker coaching session which may be helpful, they have live coaches which will shadow you through an online tourney and help fix the leaks in your game.
You can PM me for the site name.
Good Luck!

Looking for a professional player to Coach

Hello,

I am a pretty old player that has left poker when it was just getting famous and came back from time to time but never took it too serious.

I believe i have the potential and the passion for the game to take a step forward.

I am looking for a top coach to help me improve my game into the highest levels, i dont want staking i have a big enough bankroll right now for mid-high stakes games but feel i need a guideness (even thought i think the potential is there).

I am offering to anyone that will accept this a 50/50 profit share for a year from the time we start the coaching.

You can look my results i have won 8th in the stars 320$ two weeks ago and have won some 12$ turbos 180 man final tables.
my screen name is Mondraggon

If you feel you can contribute to me and take me to the next level you can feel free to email me at tankado7@gmail.com

PLEASE dont send me unless you feel you are one of the best, this is pretty good deal and i am a very capable player as it is.

Needed: Coach for Online SH and HU FLO8

I am looking for recommendations, say your top 3 to 5, for best coaches for online short-handed and heads-up fixed limit omaha hi/lo. I've read some articles indicating that Steve Jacobs (stevesbets) is one of the best if not the best in this specific category. However, his rate is obscene ($500/hr.). I'm looking for a top notch coach who is a proven online winner in his/her own right in this specific category, and who charges a reasonable rate. Thanks for your feedback folks.

Some General Coaching

I don't have too much money, so I can't really afford to pay for coaching, but if someone would be willing to critique my play or give some advice I would really appreciate it.

I've been playing for years now, and although my game as grown somewhat, I feel at times I am not very good. I haven't read a whole book, but have read through some of Super System I and am currently on Harrington on Hold Em 1.

I want to find out how I can win and do well, yet never get to the next level. I've never been profitable online, where I mostly do tourneys, despite winning and finishing in the money a decent amount of times. I cannot seem to get past the larger tourneys, 90+ people, I see little to no success. My live game playing is ring games mostly. I do well sometimes, but not always.

I understand there is a math and strategy to poker, but math not being my strong point, and being overwhelmed reading so much on here, I'd appreciate someone with some patience and time that wouldn't mind helping me out.

I hope I am not looking for too much or asking for something the wrong way, as I am new, but I appreciate any feedback or responses.

Thanks alot.

Sorry, this should be moved to the official request section. If a mod would move it, I'd appreciate it. Sorry for the mistake.

Need Accountant...[for coaching or $$]

Note: this does not have to do with taxes.

Basically I would like some accounting help in exchange for $/poker coaching. Being a CPA is not necessary (yet preferred) but having a strong understanding of accounting is. Please PM me more information with your accounting experience. All work can be done on computer/from home and should not be too hard. Deadline wont be anytime soon. I will save specifics for PM.

If you are interested in the poker coaching, we can talk over PM about what I can offer. We can find something mutually beneficial. Otherwise we can talk about a flat rate for the work done.

Re: ** Official Coaching Request Thread ** Use This!

Hey all,

Looking for a coach for 50-100 PLO to expand my game, was crushing the games and have hit a bit of a downswing over the past 20k hands. Looking for a fresh set of eyes to go over my leaks and help me improve my game.

Open to hourly rates and profit sharing. Please only contact me if you are a winning player over a sample size of at least 50-100k hands at 100PLO or greater, preferably someone who grinded from 50 up.

PM if you are interested with your skype or aim name.
