Looking for a live cash game coach, preferably in the SF Bay area. I live in the East Bay. I normally play $1-$3 NL or $3-$200 spread depending on the room. I am probably am a break even player at best because I have some terrible spews in my game. If I am honest, I probably lose over the long run. I don't need to become a pro, but I would like to be able to consistently beat the small stakes and feel comfortable in a $2-$5 and eventually a $5-$10 NL game.

I have a regular job, so evenings or weekends would be best for me. I have been playing quite a while, so I understand a lot of concepts. But based on my results I would say I still have some fundamental flaws that need to be shored up before I can advance. It probably has more to do with the discipline of actually doing what I know I should or just not actively thinking things through while I am playing.

I am 44 if that matters. I am open to younger or older coaches as long as you are experienced and can explain things clearly. As I mentioned, I would prefer someone in my area, but I would consider Skype sessions if the personality fit is better.

Old guy here finally ready to chase the dream. I have been playing live for many years, and most likely a losing player overall. Almost exclusively 1/2NL, mostly at the strip casinos here in Vegas (I live in Vegas).

I recently moved back here to Vegas with a plan to get some coaching from a guy I studied with for a short time about 5 years ago. At that time, life had its way with me and I had to give up the dream of playing for a living.

Moved back here with a bankroll, ready to be taught, only to hear that my teacher was no longer with us. Terrible tragedy there.

Now I am floating on the poker sea with no direction. I am seeking a live coach that can teach an old dog new tricks. I will pay for the training in cash, and want to begin ASAP.

I have Skype if needed, but would certainly prefer live, one-on-one.
