Hi I play on-line and play low stakes $10-$20 buy-in. poker Stars.

I want to one get taught from a real good poker player face to face and be taught from the the beginning all the way up.

Building on one lesson at a time, practising and playing in between etc.

I believe the quickest way to be a really good solid poker player is to play a lot, read a lot and get a poker coach.

I'm willing to invest lot of time to achieve the level of skill i wish for.

I want to start to play in casino's and tournaments etc.

I dont know where to start in this regard and the idea of going to a casino for the first time is rather daunting as i don't know which casino to go to or casino etiquette and the different skill set i need for a casino game.

I wish to learn everything their is to know.

If any body knows anyone in London that is a really good poker coach please contact me.

Regards

thesaintuk

This should help keep all of the requests in one place. If you are looking for a coach please use this thread. Please include as much info as possible. Important details would be what game(s) you play, limits, winrate, experience and what you are looking for in a coach.

Coaches please PM the players requesting offers. Please avoid posting in this thread unless you feel it is needed to clear up an error made by another poster.

Hi I am looking for a coach who has crushed the 45 mans turbos on Stars for a big sample size (like 5k games from $6+) and is creditable.

I have lots of leaks but haven't found anyone to help me plug them.

I'm looking for a 50NL or 100NL coach. I've recently been playing 100NL and struggling. Only have about 20K hands logged so I'm not sure if it is just a downswing, but am definitely looking for a coach to help out with my game.

I'm looking for a coach/mentor for my MTT game. I've had some success in the $5-20 buyins, and am currently above the 99th percentile on OPR. I'm looking to move up to mid/high stakes, and am open to different arrangements. PM me and let me know how you can help me.

Here are my OPRs -

Hi I'm a self-proclaimed genius.

So, if someone want's to help me excel my game, that would be appreciated. I think I'm a genius, but I just never give a **** about anything.

I am a University student in Canada. I've played poker since I was ..what.. 14, here and there. Took it seriously when I was 16, a nice lady gave me 10 dollars, I turned it into approx. 650. Cashed out, and invested about 300 back in, losing most of it. So I quit, started playing freerolls here and there, won a couple... (winning like 30 dollars) on party poker, etc. Then there started to be less and less freerolls; I quit investing time into a game I couldn't afford.

I started again first year of University, rusty, turned 20 dollars into 140, withdrew, and once again stopped playing.

That summer I found a new site I liked, Titan Poker, and lost probably around 100 bucks. Invested into a 6 dollar tournament. (I usually stuck to cash games, only playing in freeroll tournaments). Won the tournament, $1,300, was enough to make me not work all summer and enjoy a summer of boozing and partying.

I stopped playing after this also, as mother kept saying I had a gambling problem, but I think she just wanted me to use my money more wisely and productively, because she said I had a drinking and partying problem also.

Last summer I discovered that the Casino's have cash tables, 1-2 NL Hold'em (they used to only have limit poker before, I hate limit). So I started investing my money here. Probably lost about $120 playing all summer, not including the 300-400 I lost at blackjack or other stupid games while waiting for a table spot to open. I figured losing $120 was decent, I learned a lot, I think. I would pick up on hands that people tended to play, how they played them, etc.

So overall, I've probably lost more money than invested into poker, maybe, it's hard to tell, but it's fairly even.

I go to a Canadian school, and have realised Canadian education kind of sucks. I want to attend Columbia for my MBA in business once I finish my undergrad in Canada.

Problem: I never gave a **** about school and have a 2.7 GPA first year, and a 1.8-1.9ish 2nd year. I discovered marijuana 2nd year and the ultimate level of not giving a ****, about anything. By this I mean, leave school for a week and a half to go visit a girl back home. Not study for mid-terms, party before mid-terms, finals.

I am a genius because I will turn my 2.3 or whatever GPA into a 3.8+ within 2 years. I currently have a 4.0 average right now. It's quite amazing what going to class can do and studying a tiny bit. I will probably attend either Standford U. or Columbia, as my former program Director has ties with Columbia and is currently a prof at Stanford. He thinks I'm the greatest thing since "sliced bread". After my poor performance in year 2, I decided to step away from the schools business program, plus the fact that our director was leaving for Stanford. I messed up, clearly, but now I'm going to re-enter, graduate with my business degree and attend a real school, to make real business connections.

Now, I think I can be a solid poker "athlete" because of three main facts, I have experience, I've won and been successful and I can constantly go deep in freeroll tournaments involving 4000-10,000 terrible poker players.

Right now my goal is to win a PCA Main Event package without spending a penny. So far, I've placed in the top 50 3 times, just to win a ticket into he Main Event tournament.

I am unsuccessful because I need to learn more, does anyone want to take on this opportunity, teach me the specific details of poker?

We can talk about my game, but it varies, I bluff well, call bluffs fairly well, i play loose, I play tight, I play very tight, I change my style/game.

Thanks.

looking for a HSNL coach to help me break into 5/10 and above.

currently play 6max 600nl as my main game and am around an 8-10bb/100 winner. i feel i can probably break even at 5/10 but obv that isnt a v.gd result so would like coaching.

i have the classic 'red line' problem. i feel that i could probably learn a lot about double/ triple barreling - i have no probs getting value from hands, but certainly lose a lot of money in spots where i shouldnt be.

I'm sorry but Canada sucks, it's education is weak, and doesn't even compare to most schools in USA. Not to mention there isn't a school in Canada that will ever match up against any Ivy League school... or even "decent" schools on the west coast.

If you don't know this fact then you're in some sort of weird state of denial.

I attend Queens University. - Commerce/Business (sort of).

Hey

I am currently a 100nl grinder looking to grow as a poker player and take shots at larger stakes over the next few months. My winrate is questionable but something around 1-2bb/100 over a sample of 100k hands. I am looking for a coach that is able to identify spots where I can exploit other players as well as enlighten me about spots where I am leaving myself to get owned. I have lots of free time and a very high dedication to poker.

Hi,
as the title says i'm looking for a coach. I'm playing 5/10 10/20 6max NL with decent success, just looking for someone to help me make some minor tweaks in my game.

The thing is, i know there are plenty of training sites out there filled with coaches who were beating the games in 2007 or 2008 or w/e. I'm not intrested in someone like that. I need someone who is beating the games NOW and i'm obv willing to pay for it.

If you have any suggestions, please let me know by replying here or pming me.

Thanks.

I am very new to the game, but I desperately need help with my game. I currently have HEM with over 21k hands logged, but I can't seem to win. I have read several books ( Harrington on cash, NL Hold Em Theory, Phil Gordon), but I started playing over this summer so it's time I start beating 2NL.
I play 2NL deepstack, full ring on FTP, I need to find my leaks and plug them. My goal is to move up to 1/2$ in 3 years and I can't see that happening without a coach. I am not rich, and would prefer someone who is willing to help merely for the experience. But if your good and can really help me out I am more than happy to work something out.

I am willing to do whatever it takes to learn what I need to, I just really need some guidance right now, I would like to be playing 10NL by June

Please PM me if you think you can help, or email me at trippin1011@gmail.com

Hello mates,

I am specifically looking for a NL 6max/HU coach who plays 1kNL+ and uses StoxEV heavily in his analysis and coaching..If anyone knows such a person, please do share their 2p2 screen name so I can contact them for midstakes coaching..Any input on the topic is apreciated..In general, are there any reputable coaches who use similar tools in their coaching programs? What do most of you think about that kind of approach to analysis and teaching? Thank you in advance for any kind of input!

Hey everyone... i'm an accomplished online HUSNG NL HE player. I'm plowking22 on stars (scope me for my results, $120k profit, 9% roi, all at the $55 and $110 turbos.)

I feel like taking a trip to a local casino (1 hour bus ride away) and just playing some full ring $1/$2 NL HE cash for a few days... just stay in the hotel there and play live for a couple days might be a fun little trip. The problem is that i have very little experience playing NL cash games.... probably less than 5 hours total in my life. I still think i'll be the best player at the table though, so i'll definately be +EV at $1/$2, but if i run well, i'd like to move up and play some $2/$5 or higher depending on how it goes where it might be helpful to have a better idea of what i'm doing.

so i basically just want to talk to a regular player at these types of stakes or higher, preferablely someone who wins both online and live... and can give me some insite on how to outplay all these live fish. i'm only interested in coaches who play this game for a living as their only source of income... because i want to make sure that i'm getting advice from someone who understands the basic fundamentals of the game.

so i'd sort of like just a quick lesson from someone... particually on preflop play. in exchange, i can give a quick lesson and answer questions about playing heads up.

sorry... i guess mod should move this to that other thread... my bad
