I just read on your profile that you are a math teacher in Athens.. Are you teaching at the University or at the High School?? I graduated from UGA class of 99 from the Business school. Athens is a great town with lots of hot babes, cool bars, live music, etc. etc. although I am sure you already know this stuff..... I didn't really appreciate how good I had it there until I left and now I would give my left testicle if I could go back and do it all over again!!!
Not sure or not if you are into Football but if so it should be a great game against Bama this weekend. Even if you are not into it it should be a great spectacle anyway. I imagine there are going to be lots of parties and drunks everywhere!

I taught high school for four years but am now taking a year off to focus on poker and other things. As I've discussed with Taylor numerous times, I feel that Cardrunners is the main reason for me being able to do so. It gave me the network, skills, and confidence to make such a decision and have both mine and Katy's families accept it.
While I did my graduate work at UGA, I actually grew up in Knoxville, TN and thus am a Volunteer fan (don't hate me ... ). Tennessee sucks this year which is depressing, while the Dawgs are just moving right along. NFL wise, I'm a Dolphins fan which are reasons for my long-term woes with anxiety and clinical depression.
Town wise, Athens is hands down better than Knoxville - it's smaller and more intimate.
I do think that this weekend's game vs. Bama is going to be highlight of the football weekend. I have no clue who Tennessee even plays.

You guys (TN) are actually playing Auburn this week.. It should be a good game but the problem with you guys this year is that your QB so far has been terrible. Also it seems like you guys really suffer on offense without David Cutcliffe (your former OC). I like TN okay, much better then Florida.. as long as I don't have to listen to your band play "rocky top" a gazillion times!!
Man when I was in school at UGA you guys used to beat us like a drum and I would have to listen to rocky top over and over and over... it was brutal! As far as the NFL goes you think you have it bad being a Dolphins then just try being a Falcons fan.
At least you guys have had several good years in the past.. In the last 25 years we have only had about 4 good seasons total although so far this year they are looking pretty decent.
Speaking of the Dolphins I used to be real good friends with Randy McMichael, the Dolphins old TE. We used to shoot a lot of hoops together in College but unfortunately I lost contact with him when he got drafted and moved to Miami. He got traded to The rams last year.
Anyway good luck with your decision to go with Poker full time. After watching your stuff its obvious you have all the tools needed to do it and be successful. I wish you all the best and thanks for all of your great vids.
