LOL I had the exact same debate with a friend tonight.

You feel more when you lose, but there is no way to explain it unless you have sick compulsive gambler inside you.

When your gambling with money you cannot afford to lose, every single bet is an incredible rush of a million emotions going through your head. You have this constant battle going on knowing you should stop and then the other side knowing you have to try and get even.

I was at the lunch where we discussed the HU match between Doyle and Patrik and some of the games he had were just awesome. One was limit hold em but you could not play pairs in your hand, so AA would just be ace high. There were some really strange other ones that had all been played in Bobby's Room and each game had a story or two, was one amazing lunch.

He wants to win, but when he loses he wants it to hurt. If there isn't a rush, a risk of ruin, then he dosn't see a point to play. When he loses so much that it hurts in a game he dosn't have an edge in and then he makes the comeback to be even, in his mind it is as though he is stealing back his loses from the casino. So he has the pain from losing so much that it hurts , then the relief of winning it back, and finally the feeling of "haha, i shoulda lost but i won!" vs the casino.

Winning when you should lose and can lose alot is alot "more fun" then winning when you should win. The unexpected can be more "fun".

I'd have thought one of you would have come with "bout tree fiddy" for how much Brian Hastings had on him.

I had trouble with iTunes too, I could play it straight from the itunes store but I wanted to download it and it wouldnt refresh in my subscribed list. Keep trying, mine got there eventually.

Another great episode guys, I'll miss next weeks though

Was I the only one that thought Ivey was semi-kidding? I mean I am sure that he has had that feeling before but I doubt he actually likes it. I read it as being kind of sarcastic.

For those having trouble you may have to manually update the podcast by right clicking on the show from your podcast menu and clicking on update.

I'm really looking forward to both interviews.

iTunes, if you have a little exclamation mark ! beside the podcast it will not update until you do the above mentioned right-click manual update.

Maybe the bench press haha, but I doubt the 5 minute mile. I'm sure you're just kidding though!
