EPT had 592 entrants, £3,349,200 prize pool
WSOPE had 362 entrants, £ 3,620,000 prize pool

I'm sure the casino limitations were the issue to limit the number of entrants for the WSOPE events.

Any 2+2 events/drunkenings going on during WPT Fallsview? I might drive down (about 90 mins) for the tv table, or a night or two before if anyone is hanging around. I'll be away for the Day 1s, back sometime between Day 2 and 3...

My podcast ends at about 40 minutes, in the middle of one of Craig's sentences. This happened with two different computers and operating systems, a Windows XP desktop and a Vista laptop.

gReat show and happy brithday bunner.

Bunner's cred has gone up for sure adding some Rise Against to the podcast. Happy B-day.

I want to know what happened in the JJ hand for Craig. But alas the podcast ends right in the middle of his story at around the 40 minute mark.

Will look into this. Haven't heard any other complaints until now.

The AEJones strat segment was outstanding, as you guys pointed out. Another solid show fellas, bummed there won't be one next week but have a Happy (Canadian) Thanksgiving.

Hey guys just wanted to drop in and thank you guys for pimping out the strategy segment and Leggo/ the Memoirs series. It was unexpected but very appreciated.

aejones segment was great, first time a few things have actually clicked for me rather than listening to monotonous strategy talk and not absorbing.

Go CM in ME FT btw seems like a cool dude, at least someone to root for now

good show guys keep it up

Hi guys,

Great show, but I'd love a little more clarification on the AEJones strategy segment because I just don't know if I could ever make that play (I know I'm wrong, just want someone to explain to me why I'm wrong).

So the hand as described is:

AEJones has middle two pair and is check raised at the river which he feels strongly is a bluff. AEJones then goes all in because he feels his opponent will fold 100% of the time.

What I don't get though is that if he feels it's a bluff and that he has the best hand this is how I would play it:

I may:
A) If I feel really sure on my read then I'll min raise to try to get more money in.

B) If I'm not so sure on my read then I'll just call it down and take the money

Why I would think my way is better is that with option A I may win more money than AEJones, with option B I win the same money as AEJones and at no point was my entire stack at risk.

The only thing that AEJones's play may do is get him to lay down a hand like K5 or something similiar to that. The reason I don't like the shove on the river is because the only way he'll call is if he's got you beat so the shove doesn't stand to win you any more money than the call.....? right?

Thanks for the great show and making me think about this stuff differently.

delete your temp files and flush the browser cache, this should solve the problem for you by allowing you to download the file again.

This hick aejones is a pretty sharp guy.

I have a question I'd like to hear addressed on the show.

You were talking about how Duplicate Poker could be a "test case" for how bankrolls would be protected if a poker room were a USA run company. One of the promotions DP had run since the beginning of the year, was a qualification for a $140K live trny. Are they in any way responsible for distributing that $140K amongst those who met the qualification requirements?

Also...The Jones segment was great!...Spend the $5K and buy it!!

Loved the show. I especially loved the interview with Craig. aejones was really good but it kind of depresses me as I think about how bad I am. Gives me something to aspire to though.

^^This.

For us NON-auditory learners, any chance for a text version of the AEJones strat segment?
