What is FTsweat?

FTSweat.com is website where you can post your own chip counts via SMS (text messaging). Moreover, FT Sweat can relay these posts to other mobile phones or email instantly. It's the best way to tell your friends what's going on with you during a tournament you play.

What do I do to post my chip counts on FTSweat.com?

It's pretty simple. You sign up, fill out the mobile info in your options, and then send your SMS to 16 46 642 4925. It's a long number to memorize, but that's what bookmarks are for. It also spells 16 46 NH BIZ AK (16 46 "Nice Hand" "Biz" "Ace King") which really does not make any sense, but whatever helps you. Your sweat will be posted a few minutes later!

What do I do to post my chip counts on the 2+2 channel and get it on that right hand side scroller?

First, you must enter your mobile info in your options and be a follower of the channel, so fill out your options and go to http://www.ftsweat.com/channel/two-plus-two-forums and click follow. Then, when you send out your text message, simply add ??12 at the beginning of it, and it will be posted to the 2+2 channel (as well as on your own page). It will then be displayed here on the right of the forums automatically (it can take several minutes before it appears on the 2+2 site).

What do I do to follow a player?
Go to your options, tell us your mobile number or email, and select the members or channels you wish to follow (click the follow button on their page). We take care of the rest.

Is this free?

Yes! Everything on the FTSweat.com side is free, but you should know that there may be some charges from your mobile carrier, depending on your plan.

Hi everyone,

We apologize to those that thought the FTSweat scroller was annoying, and we have changed it to a less intrusive ticker.

The ticker actually feeds the live updates of 2+2 members from our site, so for those that have blocked the scroller, I would suggest that you might want to give the ticker a try, since the whole idea is to draw attention to 2+2 players while they are in a tournament.

If you still get a scroller, clear your browser cache.

If we're going to have this, I don't want to read the same updates from several days ago every time I click on a new thread. Have this sidebar display today's updates, and then have a link to older updates. Then there's no need to scroll or switch to the old updates that no one cares about anymore anyway.
