I'm not sure if its too early to be posting this, but I am going to be hosting 6 leagues myself (in addition to playing some of the sbffl leagues as well). I play with some custom rules and payouts which I'll go into below, last year I had four people from this forum join my leagues.

We like to play bigger rosters: 2 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 2 D, 1 DEF, 1K, 6 Bench

Rules: Pay attention, this is slightly different than the default! Because we play with defensive players there are some extra rules as well.

Here are the differences b/w my rules and the yahoo default:

Passing TD: 6
Interceptions: -2
Sacks: -1
Return TD: 7
Return Yards: 20yds/pt
Tackkes Solo: 1
Tackle Assist: .5
Sack: 3
Interception: 5
Fumble Force: 2
Fumble Recovery: 2
Def. Player TD: 10
Safety: 3
Pass Def: .5
Block Kick: 3

Prizes: The overall prize pool is split in two, half going to best records and half going to playoff winners. Each pool is split 70-30.

1st Place: 35%
2nd Place: 15%
Best Record: 35%
2nd Best Record: 15%

So if your team has the best record AND wins the playoff, you get 70%.

I will be running 2 $200, $50 and $10 leagues. I prefer 8 man leagues but will do 10 if there is demand.

I'm willing to open up as many leagues as I get interest for, but I don't want to take away from the SBFFL leagues since I will be playing a few of those as well. seems like a great scoring system you have there though. i might have to plagiarize if my guys decide we're doing defensive players this year.

Any idea when you will be drafting for the $50 league? Interested.

Also, do kick return yards factor in at any position? Or do they only count for a "d" player?

Only D players, which includes special teams. We draft about a week before the season begins. Here's a link to the current list.

just as an update, there is at least 2 spots open in the $200 leagues, I might make one of those into a 10 man league depending on interest. 4 spots in the $50 leagues and 5 spots in the $10 league.

Suggestion for the draft. On yahoo, the draft order is determined 45 minutes before the draft begins. I think it would be better if we randomly created a draft order now, and then put that order into yahoo for the online draft. It helps to prepare for the draft knowing what pick you will have.

Maybe just for the HoF leagues?
