i fold. I probably dont even call the sb initial psb. I could easily see you only drawn to maybe like 3 or 4 outs here.

I fold as well. Even if you hit your 4 you might not be in good shape. and only have three 8s you can hit since you wont be able to get much value (if any) if the 8d peels off. I dont mind limping from the sb cuz who knows what the flop brings, but dont put anymore into this pot

OP is in the BB but limping this in the SB is pretty bad.

Fold, 4's are tainted, 8 is tainted, you'll be spliting often if you do hit.

Also fold when SB pots it the first time around. Not just because of the tainted outs, but also because UTG is yet to act, and your implied odds aren't there when you're drawing to a 1-card straight.

fold to the donk bets. You have crappy implied odds against shortstackers for starters. If you do mnake your straight there's 4 to a straight out there which is a scare card. One of the outs to that is the idot end of the 4 to a straight which can't stand a whole lot of heat.

Fold to push. you don't now exactly how many outs you have. You could have 6 clean outs if someone has a flush draw. Someone could have the straight already so dead to a chop, or 2 pair. Barley have odds to call this if they have like 1 pair each.

fold, a double gutter is not as good as you'd think facing this much aggression.

Thanks for the comments... FWIW, I did call. Check, Check on Tun and an 8 on the river gave me the straight. I put only a $10 bet and got called by SB with 2 pair; but AI guy had 97 and we split the main pot.

Upon further review, I agree that a fold is the best play. I also, should have bet more on river probably.
