I'm trying to improve my mid-game. I think I'm usually too tight at those levels. Here I wanted to loosen up a bit more, but I have the feeling this is possibly too loose. Am I right? What is your opening range here? It's not a loose table, as you can see (tighter than usual 2.25).

I believe that is a fold, you wont see too much advice here telling you to loosen up your mid game

Too loose. I'd make this move in late position or SB in an unraised pot.
