They scrubbed the 90 minute Isildur1 retrospective, so there may not be anything you're interested in.

I would nominate that_pope, except everytime Howard references Ray's company Pocket Kings, pope would feel the urge to shove them into Trup QQ and all hell would break loose.

Listened to as much as I could on my lunch break. I know this isn't a popular opinion but as a previous Full Tilt customer who didn't even play at Pokerstars whatsoever I still do not hold any strong dislike for Howard.

That being said, two things I wish he did was 1) Open his remarks in either Pokernews interview or this one with some sort of apology to the players. He may feel it goes without saying but it would go a long way. and 2) Saying that firing a CFO who gives fraudulent reports would put the company into a tailspin that they couldn't recover from cannot be justified. All he has to say is that they made a mistake and should have fired the guy immediately.

Howard deserves some credit for putting himself out there, taking the initiative on this interview, and speaking out as soon as the deal was done. Unfortunately I don't think he'll ever be a position where he can attend events like WSOP and not be hassled.

Finally, I don't believe that he should be paying back all his distributions or anything like that. I honestly believe him when he discusses all the obstacles involved in him preventing this from happening in the first place (NOT his reaction after it was done) being: the move from CA to Ireland leaving him far away from the company, his involvement in the software/poker aspects and not the financial, the board's apathy, his inexperience in the business world, and dealing with Bitar's personality.

I sure hope you asked him why they didn't give back their distibutions.

Mincash.

I was hoping for more details about the looming worldwide bacon shotage but Howard had to mess things up.
