Last Year's Rules:

Quote:
**WSOP FANTASY LEAGUE - Rules & Signup**

1. $20 entry (USD). You must be able to pay via pokerstars real money transfer or paypal to be able to enter.

2. The deadline for all payment and submission of your team is June 1 at 10:00 Pacific time. Any late submissions or late payments will be rejected.

3. You have a salary cap of 1500 points to spend. You must pick 10 players (no more, no less) from the list of players, or off, using at most 1500 points to form your team.

4. The player point values are determined from the last 3 years of the WSOP POY race. A weighted average of 15% 2015, 30% 2014 and 20% 2013 is used. Any player not on this list has a point value of 75.

5. If you want to change your team prior to registration closing then do so via the googledoc or if you are unable to do this then private message me your changes.

6. One entry per person. Do not send multiple entries even if you have multiple twoplustwo accounts.

7. Score will be based on your team's combined WSOP player of the year points. Only open events in Las Vegas will count towards your score.

8. Points for the Main Event will be determined upon the setting of the November Nine. Players in the November Nine will score points based upon their chip standing at the final table. (The player who is the chip leader will get points for 1st place and the short stack will get points for 9th place).

9. Payouts will be awarded as follows: The payout total will be all money collected minus any fees incurred from paypal, transfers, etc. There's no rake. We will be using the following payout structure, (payout percentages are listed first place, second place, etc)

28-36 players (45%, 25%, 18%, 12%)
37-45 players (40%, 23%, 16%, 12%, 9%)
46-54 players (38%, 22%, 12%, 11%, 8%, 6%)
55-63 players (35%, 21%, 15%, 11%, 8%, 6%, 4%)
64-72 players (33.5%, 20%, 14.5%, 11%, 8%, 6%, 4%, 3%)
73-99 players (32%, 19.5%, 14%, 11%, 8%, 6%, 4%, 3%, 2.5%)
100-150 players (31.5%, 19%, 13.5%, 10.5%, 8%, 6%, 4%, 3%, 2.5%, 2%)
151 + players (31%, 18.5%, 13%, 10.5%, 8%, 6%, 4%, 3%, 2.5%, 2%, 1.5%)

10. I will do my best to spot instances of exceeded salaries and give you a chance to correct it before the registration deadline. However any discrepancies noticed after the beginning of the first open event will result in you having to select a player to remove from your team. This player will not be replaced and any points scored by this player prior to his/her removal will not count.

11. There are no substitutes or side pools.

12. Here is the spreadsheet of player salaries

13. Please submit your team via this google doc This has been created by Shorty4366 and he is helping me with a lot of the organisation of the teams and updates of the scores. A large amount of credit deserves to go to him.

14. Please check the player names carefully and use the exact name when submitting your team. If you put an abbreviation/pseudonym then the googledoc will not recognise it.

15. If you have any questions/queries then please feel free to ask either in thread or via private message.

Requirements for this to run again:

Escrows: TChan and PokercastRoss handled that last year and did a great job

Late Summer Help: I can handle the salaries and the entries and most of the updates, but I've got a baby due in mid July and would require either someone to take over the updates at this point or perhaps even help throughout the summer.

I haven't started the salaries yet because that's quite a bit of work and I don't want to do it all if this isn't going to get off the ground.

I'm in to see if I can improve on my bottom-five-percent performance from last year!

Loved the format last year, thought it went very smoothly. I'd be in if it ran again 100%

Congrats on the little one on the way! From the schedule I've seen the main event should get down to 9 on July 17 and the Little One for One drops final table is the 15th. So maybe ends up not being an issue with baby due 'mid July'? I also realize there's quite a bit of preparation for a child on its way obviously.

I was a lazy **** last year but would love to participate again.

It's already WSOP time?
03-22-2017 , 02:11 PM
not quite, but stuff takes time to organise.

Specifically when it comes to finding other people to do things for you.

I am still looking for someone who knows a little about excel and who could spend perhaps 20 minutes every couple of days on updating the standings in July.

I would also feel better if we had the escrows in place before starting the work towards this. I think if it was for bragging rights only I'd give running this a pass this year.

I'll do the escrow. My requirements are:

All money sent on paypal in US $ both directions.
I am not chasing people down to pay. If you don't submit payment by the deadline xander sets up, too bad.
Must include your 2p2 name in the paypal transaction or send me a PM on 2p2 with your paypal name.

He is the hero the Pokercast needs right now

this is great, thanks

I would still like someone else who can receive PokerStars transfers too since for me (and I'm sure others) this is by far my preferred method of payment.

I think that was an issue last time was the differences between the amounts collected on Stars/Paypal and the amounts paid out on Stars/Paypal.

If it is all on one format, no issue.

are you saying that the exchange rate was different or that people didn't pay because of the confusion caused by having 2 methods of collection?
03-29-2017 , 04:27 PM
Neither. I am saying that the payouts from TC and Ross were delayed due to trying to figure out how much they collected at each site and who wanted to be paid out at each site.

If someone collects all the money at Stars and sends me a lump payment on Paypal, that is fine. Otherwise it is just another accounting step to make mistakes.

I'm going to let this sit for a little bit and will have to assume that everyone is ok with paypal only payments unless I hear otherwise.

If this is a problem for you then please speak up now or forever hold your peace
